It sounded as if the splash played 1 time (lower and quieter), then cut off and never played again. I suspect what you have actually done is to introduce a glitch of some kind.
The only thing that needs to be worked on in this mod is to make the swimming sounds a little louder. I think you made them TOO quiet. But it really makes a big difference from the vanilla splashing.
Shouldn't there still be muffled and soft low pitched sounds while swimming underwater? I don't swim much, but I have a feeling one can steel hear such sounds from movement underwater.
The mod is nice anyway, though, as the original sounds are way too harsh or "outdoorish" (for lack of a better word - just as if they were recorded by splashing in an open basin full of water, and not underwater in a pool.

And yet underwater splashing is nothing compared to what I encountered recently: underwater waterfalls and rivers... *slow blink*
I didn't realize how much I appreciated this mod until I started using it.
