Had to abandon TES modding for a small while due to RL issues. Plans for a quest are underway, and male body mesh permissions are being asked for. Will speak with someone who actually knows papyrus proper for racial. Greatly apologize for the delay, and seemingly abandoning the mod.

Step 1 - Download the "China Doll Race- Cerami MERGED" file, and install it.
Step 2 - Download the "China Doll Race With Voice" file, in the old files section
Step 3 - Go to China Doll Race With Voice folder (The folder of the old version of the mod) ----> Meshes ---> _ChinaGirl ---> Body ---- and copy the "skeleton_female.nif" archive. Or just look for it in the finder in the start menu of windows.
Step 4 - Open the China Doll Race -NMM Compatible- folder (The latest version of the mod folder) and repeat the route (meshes->Chinadoll->Body). Then in the last folder (body) you will notice the the "skeleton_female.nif" is named "skeletonfemale.nif". Well just paste the older version of this archive, and replace the latest one (skeleton_female.nif will replace skeletonfemale.nif)
Step 5 - Erase the Old version of this mod. You will not need it anymore.
And that's all. That fixed the problem for me. Now I play like a 30 cm pale and cute doll.
ATTENTION: You will need delete skeleton_female.nif from the Body folder.Then copy in the old file. Then you rename "skeletonfemale.nif" to "skeleton_female.nif" for it to work without CTD.
ok, i've never posted on here before but... hello! i've been using this mod and i like it a lot! it's very cute and neat running around as a little doll, and i also used the expanded character edit mod to make weapons normal-sized so it's also funny seeing my tiny character swing around a full-sized hammer. (for everyone talking about the long neck problem, theskyrimnewbie's advice about installing okrace skeleton from the poet follower works to fix it, you just have to replace the skeleton for the dolls with poet's skeleton. poet's skeleton is in meshes/Actors/character/_Okrace, and the dolls' skeleton is in meshes/_ChinaGirl/Body.)
however i have a couple very minor problems, and admittedly i'm not sure if they're caused by mod conflicts or anything of that nature. problem 1. if i try to change the eye color of the unloved doll, i get a crazy amount of several slots of the exact same eye color, and going too far back in the color list causes a CTD. the loved doll does not have this problem. since i ended up playing as a loved doll anyway, this doesn't affect me, but i would like to know if anyone else has this same issue just in case. problem 2. all face paints and tints appear very faint and light in color, to the point of being almost impossible to see. i would love to be able to go for a painted doll look, but it's nearly impossible with just how pale any colors i add end up!
i'm not really sure the creator ever intends to return to this mod, so if anyone else in the comments has advice for either of these two problems i would love to hear it! thank you.

They mean to use the skeleton from hangakin's Poet Follower mod.
