The Keyword lists will sort and track many other mods that aren't listed on this page. Generally, CCFM cannot track a crafted weapon if you give it a custom name. However, if you add a common keyword to your crafted item name (ie. Sword, Greatsword, Crossbow, etc...) it may help CCFM put your special item where it belongs.

KNOWN KEYWORD CONFLICTS:

Some mods use the same keywords across multiple categories, which in turn may conflict with mods that are already supported. The only problem with supporting so many mods is that it increases the possibility of this happening. The following are category discrepancies which cannot be fixed:

  • Aesir Armor - Furs and Hoods will show up under Light armor whether they are armored or not
  • Alchemy Overhaul - the Poison Doom will show up under Destruction due to a conflicting spell
  • Another Sorting Mod - Waterwalking potions will show up under Alteration as they conflict with a spell from another supported mod
  • Better Sorting - Cure Disease and Cure Poison Potions will show up under spells lists
  • Crafting 300 - The two-hander Magebane shows up under one-handed and the sword Fury shows up under Illusion due to conflicts
  • Game of Thrones Adaptation Mod - Light Ancient First Men, Florey, Frey and Lannister Guard armor pieces will show up under Heavy Armour because both versions share the same name. The Sword "Ice" will probably show up under Destruction spells.
  • Mantle of the Silver Hand - Both Light and Heavy versions will fall under the Light Armour section
  • Mighty Magick Skyrim - Some Imbue Weapon spells may show up in the wrong sublist under Magic
  • Phenderix Magic Evolved - Transmogrify will show up under Illusion due to conflict with another supported mod
  • Requiem - Illumination and Night Vision Powers conflict with existing spells from other mods
  • Skyrim Redone 1.2 & Recurve Longbows - Dragonrend Longbow conflicts with the shout of the same name and will show up in that column if favourited
  • The Ningheim Race - The Divine Intervention power conflicts with an existing spell and will show up under Restoration
  • Thunderbolt Shout Package - Lightning Shield and Armageddon conflict with existing spells from other mods
  • Trollsbane Armor and Weapon - Both light and heavy versions show up under Heavy Armour because they share the same names

***IMPORTANT***

You must have Categorized Favorites Menu by favmenumodder installed before installing my layout. You can get it here:

Also, to alter the Equip Sets in game, or save the position of the menu you should have the latest version of SKSE installed (that supports your version of the game):

KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS:

This information has been copied directly from Categorized Favorites Menu's Page as a helpful resource. These shortcuts will allow you to finetune the positioning of your chosen layout, as well as manpulate Equip Sets.

  • 1 to 9 with item selected: Hotkey selected item
  • Ctrl + w/s/left/right: Moves the menu up/down/left/right 5 pixels
  • Hold ctrl+shift to move by 1 pixel
  • Ctrl + f: Create an equipset from the currently equipped items
  • Ctrl + delete: Delete the selected equipset
  • Mouse wheel: scroll list
  • Alt + mouse wheel: scroll list faster
  • Ctrl + mouse wheel: switch lists

EQUIP SETS:

In my original layout for CCFM, and in the current Default layouts, I removed Equip Sets because as favmenumodder labels them, they are "experimental." My layouts only influence how Equip Sets are handled visually on screen, not how they are assigned or manipulated. These are some quick fixes that you can try to get your Equip Sets working in the event you are having problems:

  • Make sure you have the latest version of SKSE installed that supports your version of the game
  • Make sure you copied the entire contents of the zipped SKSE download to your Skyrim root directory
  • Make sure you are launching the game with skse_loader.exe, not TESV.exe
  • Make sure that you, or another installed mod, have not assigned the Keyboard Shortcuts needed by CFM to other functions
  • Check that your favoritesmenu_equipsets.cfg file is not set to "Read Only"
  • If an item is not behaving as it should after updating CFM or CCFM, remove then re-add the item to your favorites menu
  • Adding new sets does not overwrite existing ones with the same number designation. It appends a new version to the end of the list. Make sure to delete any Equip Sets you don't want to use before adding new ones.

If these suggestions don't solve the problems you are experiencing, you will have to ask for advice/help on the original Categorized Favorites Menu forum.

INSTALLATION:

Both FOMOD and BAIN installers are available in the same Main download.

NMM (FOMOD) - Choose the option you want from the scripted installer.
Wrye Bash (BAIN) - Choose the option you want from the scripted installer. (Thanks to Surazal!)
Manual - Simply unzip the file and overwrite the favoritesmenu.cfg file in Skyrim/Data/Interface with the option you prefer. The names of the folders describe the layout inside.

In any case, when asked to overwrite the existing .cfg file, select "Yes".

If you don't want to lose your current layout, please go to your Skyrim/Data/Interface folder and back up the favoritesmenu.cfg file located there prior to overwriting with mine.

UPDATES:

An update log can be accessed through the "ReadMe" tab above.
