February 3, 2018 - 5.0 ANNOUNCEMENT! IMPORTANT! Okay...do I have your attention? Don't mean to yell and all, just hoping to help people out here. If you are using any version of Elysium Estate below 5.0....and you download 5.0 into your current game, I can guarantee bugs. It just happens. You will have activators that don't work, missing meshes, collision issues, scripts that don't respond.... etc. I have tested 5.0 over and over again so if you have lots of bugs, it is most likely on your end. Try Elysium 5.0 on a new game, try it on a clean game. Or try another clean save. If you still have issues, it could also be another mod. Download the Elysium Estate guide in the files section for how to perform a clean save and other information.
Now to say...there may not be a bug or two with 5.0. It happens. If so, report on the bug page or in this forum. I do update the Change Log, so check that if you are wondering if you need an update. Thanks and enjoy!
January 26, 2018 - Yep. I went ahead and released it! 5.0. I have put countless hours into this version since April 2017. It will be controversial for some people, but I made these changes after using Elysium Estate 4.3.5 on my play-through of Skyrim and I am happy with them. Thank you so much for all the feedback of my supporters, and for those who tested the BETA.

February 3, 2018 - A note from me: I try to respond to lots of comments and PMs...if I don't respond to yours, it might be because I have answered the question a lot, or you can find the answer by downloading the guide to help you out. And we have a great community here, sometimes other people respond with better comments than I ever could! Thanks for all the suggestions everyone....but I can't take them all even though most of them are awesome. I have hit a point of diminishing returns with Elysium Estate in I have learned so much over the years but it's time I move onto other projects. I'm still here to support this mod for now though.

Just wanted to say the new 5.0 version is awesome. You took the best player's home on nexus and made it even better!
Just a note for those updating..... Just a new game didn't work for me, ( still had remnants of the older version left over like the guest house, the front door was missing, the rear chimney was floating, the 4.3.5 chimney was still in place and the shrine was missing plus my fps plummeted to 10fps when I got on the property).
I had to Uninstall 5.0, reinstall 5.0, sort with loot, rebuild my merged and bashed patches then rerun texgen and Dyndolod, now everything works perfectly!

Great house, the only thing even deactivating what you mentioned to get the lag ... something keeps giving lag. I will say where .... When you get or leave the house, to me here it takes 20 to 25 seconds to enter or leave, not even at the gates of the cities that have many homes and people take so long for about 9 seconds.
Hi. Great mod, maybe the best house mod in the game. For me, it's only missing two things from being perfect: A mirror that allows me to change my appearence, and a toilet. Best Wishes, Mara.
2024 and this is still my favorite house mod! 10 years of getting and testing hundreds of houses and still none can beat this beauty. Perfect location, near Whiterun, which has anything you may need. A room for everything, crafting, followers, collections, storage, even a bath and kitchen! Even though the house is large, it is filled with interactable things and yet, doesn't lag at all. This will always have a permanent spot in my list!
Believe it or not, but even in 2023 I am still only ever using the old 4.3.5 version of this house. It's my absolute favourite and final destination of every Dragonborn character. =) The displays of this house are the best. They set the scene just right. The house is immersive and cozy. Adds a lot of flavour to the area in front of Whiterun and has a large space for horses to live. (Why is no one else ever thinking of our loyal steeds??) Only downside is the bath in the follower area. Which also serves as children area and I'd personally be veeeeery hesitant to have such a large bath in a kids room. Replacing it with a play area would be neat. But hey! Everything else is just great! So I will not complain! :D
- Has some overlapping outdoors if used together with the other Villa type of house mod in front of Whiterun. Can't remember the name though.
I prefer version 3.21 to version 5.0. The large garden, dense vegetation and dark indoor environment make me feel very comfortable. Unfortunately, I can't find and try any earlier version.

Small query. Can't seem to find the slot for the ebony blade. Am I missing something?
