If you want to convert this mod for SSE this guide helps you EN, RU, good luck. But don't forget to read Permissions. P.S. I wrote this message for users, not for author.
I run this mod with only SKSE64, SkyUI, and DienesTools, and still it crashes. I don't even get to the main menu. I checked my game files and they're fully updated. I have the latest version of both SKSE and SkyUI. I don't understand why it keeps crashing!
Don't know if you still want this, but you could probably just port it yourself in like 5 minutes. All you have to do is resave the esp and unpack the bsa, and most mods will work that way. Try it out if you are willing to put the effort in.
Have you played AC Odyssey? it has a feature where you can simply copy the appearance of one armor to another to keep the stats of one armor but replacing the model and texture with the armor of your choosing, its brilliant and im looking for a mod like that in skyrim
Thats a big problem anyway in Special Edition. For example i want a working mod where you can copy the stats from the mage robes to the mod outfit you have. Without this you wont stand a chance without cheating up enchantment.
Having a problem where transformed armors are losing their stats after closing and reopening the game, really annoying to keep transforming armor sets every time I boot up the game. Other wise I love this and I wished it worked properly.
I'm confused, forgive this if it's a stupid question and I may have read what you said in description incorrectly but, does this simply copy the set of armor you desire and place the stats on a different one selected, to have better stats on simple shite armor...OR does this let one change the stats of an armor generally, like say if I have a modded armor aka Master of beasts by modder redtox.
Will this mod let me change the armor INTO clothes, so I could manipulate the mage armor perk among others from ordinator mod?
This mod affects items that are "desired" set and identical ones in the world, so for example if you equip vanilla iron armor set and copy daedric stats onto it, all vanilla iron armor in the game will have daedric stats. However, this shouldn't be a problem with stuff only the player has (it's not in leveled lists and doesn't appear on any NPCs).
If only there was a way to add a player-only set of armor and copy other armors' looks onto it... So that I'd be wearing this set that nobody else has (so the stat changes affect no one but me), which looks like any armor I want (including ones others might have), and has the stats of the finest armor in my possession (that fits my char). Thus solving the main issue with the mod.
This mod is so close to what I'm looking for. I was told that there was one that did exactly this, except it was only for TWO sets of armor, and it had no impact on any identical sets in the game (specifically, if you swapped an Iron set with a Daedric set, only those two sets would be changed. Overall, identical sets would remain unchanged in the world.)

Heard about this mod on the Lovers lab. Sounds like a must! Are you planning a plugin to "make item enchantable." That would be very wicked. It would also need it's own Papyrus plugin for SKSE, but it is very very possible.
I'm having the same issue as someone down this thread from me in which 'CopyArmor' isn't appearing in the MCM menu. I checked and everything is up to date, so I'm unsure what the problem is. I have all of the requirements installed and everything, and I've been searching all day for a solution to my mage robes problem, and this seemed perfect! So if someone could get back to me and give me some tip on how to sort this out, I would be greatly appreciative. :)
hey, just found the solution. It's been so long since i've added a new mod that I didn't remember that MCM menus take a while to load. Just play the game for like 10 or 15 minutes and you'll see the little message saying "MCM Registered (1) New Menus"
