SpellCrafting for Skyrim 1.0.0 Update (25.07.2016)
After an equally mind-numbingly time of no updates, a new update.
First and foremost, translations! From now on, Spell Crafting for Skyrim is
an localised ESP, shipped with raw strings as well as a huge
translatable SkyUI translation file. That was only possible because of a
huge help from DavidJCobb on reddit. As a result, if you'd like to translate our mod, you don't have to touch ESPs in any way. Just use TesVTranslator, or any other software to work on Strings and the appropriate UILib translation text file.
Per request, I have changed learning step so that it can now... -

Invisibility self/other's cost fixed.
Version 0.06 - 9.03.2016
Most remaining spells have been also adjusted as well, so far this should be considered a final patch version.

Tiny fix with the descriptions and magnitude of fire and shock interval spells.
Version 0.04 - 8.12.2015

Turn Undead has been re-done. It now... -
I will list here more "techy" info about each udpates:
Edit (05-03-2016) as of version 0.9.9, this process changes a bit. Most of the multipliers have been standarised, so if a spell is from a list and/or has a correct keyword, it will level progress by 1.0; if they have the correct keyword, but are not from the list and are set to be able to progress the cantrip, they will usually progress it by 0.1. Some cantrips now require perks. Well, so far only one - Restore Stamina, which require Respite and will level twice as fast.
As of version 0.9.9 the cantrip progress starts being gained when you "ready" and cast a corect spell, and is being rewarded when you "sheath" the spell.
You can also toggle that option completely off, ... -
Spell Crafting Campfire Add-on
Version 0.01 28-10-2015

First release! requires SpellCrafting 0.9.7.2 and Campfire 1.3 or greater. Gives you option to craft two spell crafting altars, one regular, one Daedric. You need to be Archmage and in case of Daedric one also complete the DragonBorn main quest. All recipes require Iron, Silver and Quicklsiver ingots, Spell-Crafting Journal, Firewood and Grand/Black Soul Gem. You can also toggle Debug mode to craft them without requirements.
One regular altar will be available to buy from Tolfdir after finishing College quest line (you might need to wait him to restock
though).
The altar has three activatable parts: the lectern, which will activate the item's menu (use/pick up), the book which will ac... -
In August 2015, I have contacted TaiChiKid to ask him for permission to modify his mod. I absolutely loved SpellCrafting for Skyrim, and I used it in all my mages playthroughs. That being said, I kept noticing bugs or problems here or there.
I have noticed problems with incorrect magicka usage; TaiChiKid has quite valiantly recreated the spellcasting process, but he missed one or two things. Most notably, the cost of spell wouldn't be modified by any other perks added by overhauls like SkyRe/Perma, or even the vanilla ones. Now, with introduction of better SKSE functions, they will be correct.
So, what are the plans for the future?
Phase 1 (we are still kinda here)
On 31st of August, 2015 version 0.9.6.1 has been released.
Phase on...
