You can get ID codes for any items simply by searching them in console.

I have a modding book on Amazon, "Newbies Guide to Modding Skyrim: Tips and Tricks for the Creation Kit." Available in print, Kindle, and audiobook (Audible, Amazon, iTunes)!
Check out this Blog Post for a gist of what is in it

There are two real reasons I picked this up, and was surprised quite pleasantly. The first reason was immersion with Anna's NPC's as Anduniel mentions Sea Food Stew the second reason is less obvious but still more immersion viz. Vanilla food is rather dull and alcohol is everywhere and milk even with hearthfire is more of a cooking ingredient than a consumable. The addition of Tea that was brilliant in being balanced, they take a lot to produce and are worth the effort for combat effects while not being incredibly expensive - if you want to craft for septims alchemy is still your better option heh. I would like to see more Dunmer inspired food added (adding ash yams to horker is fine however there are other meats in skyrim for starters) but, as it is this mod is worth picking up and keeping.

Thanks for your thoughts! I will consider adding a DB-version with ash yams

Any plans on porting this to SSE in the future?

Maybe. I don't know how to convert meshes, so would have to ask my friend if he has time.

These recipes are lovely and I want to try this mod out, but the textures are not as good as the recipes sound. The soups look....very unappealing. Any plans on changing the textures?

Not after that. A sugar-coated insult is still an insult. It's easy to change yourself if it's so... "unappealing."

It wasn't an insult- those soup textures are from the vanilla game. :-/

Not entirely. The herbal fondue and clam chowder are recolorings by me, before I knew much about retexturing. I have since then taken actual photos of various stews, which I'll implement eventually.

Well, I don't see any recolors in my game, I see the vanilla textures. Sorry that you misunderstood my meaning.

Although Breezehome Rebuilt seems to make the goody barrels go away, the recipes are more than worth the effort. Thanks.

Doh! Just read what you said about relocating those 3 recipe books to Belethor's inventory. THAT would explain why I can see the non breakfast recipes at least. But what about the breakfast ones?

Also since Breezehome is so heavily modded, isn't it safest to just relocate that entire shelf to Belethor's (or even Arcadia's) shop? I haven't seen any mods which modify these 2 vendor shop interiors to date. Perhaps place it in that room under the stairwell in Arcadia's shop. Or in the backroom near the cook pot in Belethor's. This is since there are a few minor mods which add clutter/havokable items to the front of both these shops.

    Anduniel,

I also have BFU. But none of the 2 breakfast foods (omlette and french toast) or the 3 books & 2 flour barrels (pictured on that vanilla bookshelf) show up in the made over version of BFU. I was hoping they would be floating in the air somewhere in the dining hall so I could stick them in my inventory. But unfortunately, the BFU mod overwrites this mod.

Can you list the base/ref IDs for these 5 items so I can use the player.additem cheat? Also must you read the books in order to have the breakfast items appear? Because oddly enough, I can see the other teas/stews etc recipes just fine using the cookpot. Is it necessary to read the books before the breakfast foods come up?

Cris99us: I don't know, as I no longer use BFU. Works with all DLC. Which items specifically? In the HF edition, I believe I no longer have any new items in Breezehome. If in doubt, why not just try it out?
TiberSeptm: I don't know how to use WryeBash, but from what I hear, yes, something like that.
Aspidiske: In HF edition they are in the test cell in the description, as well as any usual HF places.

Will this mod work with Breezehome Fully Upgradable Hearthfire & Dawnguard? I am wondering because of where you say you place the items. I would love to use this mod. Thank you!

So if I wanted to use several mods that add foods, I would use wyrebash to merge the leveled list changes right? I've never acually bothered to use wyrebash before but there are so many good but modestly sized recipe expansion mods out there I'd rather not pick just one.

Just a question, where do you find cream? I have been looking all over skyrim and I still don't see any cream ingredient or whatsoever. As well as the table where you can see the recipes and stuff, I don't see it in the Breezehome, can someone help me with that?
