Crafting:


In order to craft the Dark Elven equipment you need to have the "Elven Smithing" perk. The recipe itself requires you to have the vanilla "Elven" equipment associated with the recipe and a certain amount of charcoal (stick version). You can obtain this charcoal via a recipe to turn firewood into charcoal at the smelter. 1 firewood = 2 charcoal sticks. These sticks of charcoal should also be available throughout Skyrim (you can see them in dungeons occasionally), and are purchasable from some vendors.







Conflicts:


The only mods I can imagine conflicting with this mod are ones which modify Thalmor Leveled lists if you're using the Thalmor version. However, I'm not aware of any mod which does this.

You do not need to download Flobulon's Dark Elven Thalmor-Style Equipment to use this mod.

If you're using Melt-Down Everything you might want the recipe to require the charcoal you can get from the smelter to make your Dark Elven equipment. I'm willing to make a version of this mod for you which does this if you request it.








Dark Elven Thalmor:


The current file makes it so the Thalmor spawn with Dark Elven equipment. This file renames the "Elven Light" armor pieces to "Thalmor" armor pieces, changes the textures for the "Elven Light" armor, and modifies some leveled item lists.

If you don't want this you should download the optional file "Dark Elven - no thalmor".
