Great mod, i'm always watching out for those big bastards now!
Found 3 massive cave bears in a cave... they stood up on their back legs and nearly hit the roof!
I wish they didn't give a warning though - bears are pretty aggressive when they're hungry. I'd like to see them bursting out of the forest without warning!
The mod 'one with nature' lets you set animal behaviours but not make them more aggressive than in their vanilla state, is there a mod that would make them more quick to anger?
Having played more than a few hours with Bigger Badder Ranger Bears, I thought I should stop by and credit you will at least six surprise death scenes...now that is fun. Already endorsed but thought a polite thank you was also in order. Trolls? They could use the same treatment...because they are currently wimps.
Should this work with Immersive Creatures or Hunting in Skyrim? I know one of those creates variations of normal bears, and cubs.
Since I didn't get an answer, I'll say what I think the answer is. The mod seems to work well with Immersive Creatures and Hunting in Skyrim. I picked the ranger bigger edition. I don't know much about polar bears, but I don't think they're the size of baby whales, like in your normal version. I'm not complaining; that was just weird.
Sorry I didn't get back with you sooner. I actually try to make sure I respond to all posts, life has been busy lately unfortunately.
Yes I do plan on doing a lot of different animal modifications including an attempt to redo their AI as well. I know there are mods that already started on this task, but they are either really old and appear like they may have been abandoned or kind of treat animals in a generic fashion.
Hopefully I'll have an "Skyrim Animals Redone" mod up and available soon.
Great to hear this. I also wanted to see a slightly bigger sabre cat for Skyrim ... and more fierce meaning doing more damage in their attacks.
However, u know me ... only a slight increase in size would be ok for me ... how about only 10% size increase and 20% (and 30% also hopefully?) more damage in their attacks ??
Cool, I am going to try this out. Don't be surprised if I'm back in 24 hours asking if you can make an "Even bigger, even badder, dire bears edition", because I like to crap my pants when a bear comes running out of the woods at me.
...did I just say I like to crap my pants? ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..... GO BEARS!
ps - are you maybe planning a bigger badder sabertooth cats mod?

Thanks for the heads up buddy! I'm currently working on a few different things to improve Bigger Badder Bears at the moment. One, I'm going to be releasing a Bigger Badder Bears - Only Bigger as well as Bigger Badder Bears - Only Badder set of options for people who want the size or the power of the bears in this mod, but not the other. Second I'm going to combine this all into an NMM installer so that people don't have to browse through a bunch of downloads in order to get their desired version.
I'll make sure I check out the new SkyRe version and make sure I don't have to update my patch.
The current patch should still work fine for the time being, if there was no update to the bears in the new version then there will be no need to update the patch.

I don't know how to merge the changes. Seems like a minor thing, but fyi.

also the size only file would be best if it has no .esp, instead a mesh loose files =)
