Recent Changes Version 3.3 - New Feature/MCM Toggle: Broken Heart, A hole will now appear where your enemy's heart once was. - Heart Rip script refined, if heart ripping animation cannot be triggered due to terrain, glitched side effects such as dropped weapons/explosions/added hearts should no longer occur. - Spell Power can no longer be used on the following NPCs: Miraak, Ildari, Ebony Warrior, and Tsun. - Fixed issue where Spell Power could be applied more than once, leading to every hit causing bleedouts. - Various scripting tweaks and refinements. - New installer that includes both Loose and BSA options.
BSR Support I've decided to stop support of Belua Sanguinare Revisited as of version 3.0. The mod itself is quite old and right now seems to be pretty much dead. Sorry to the few of you who still use it and Heart Breaker together, if it manages to get revived and updated I'll for sure try to add support again. If you wanna stick with the 2.0 BSR version, it'll still be there in the old files. If you plan on ditching it for 3.3, make sure you follow the clean save steps. The Main Version is still technically compatible with BSR, however, you will get normal hearts instead of BSR damaged hearts.
I had a few kill move crashes with Violens activated in my last playthrough, so I can do without it, but I was wondering if there's a load order requirement to make it work with this? If I start a new game with this activated, it works fine, but as soon as I activate Violens as well, nothing happens when I select "Rip Heart Out" on a downed NPC. It exits the message box, but no animation plays, and the NPC soon gets back to their feet.
i have both mod and been using it for years together and has never been a crash involving the two sometimes you have to do it multiple times in order to trigger mine sometimes take 2 i am a vampire with sacrosant and this is a good way to farm human heart to craft into blood potion
The crashes I was experiencing didn't seem to be due to these used together, I was getting them with Violens before I installed this one.
They were weird though, because they (the crashes) always happened on the same enemy no matter how many times I reloaded a save. I think temporarily disabling Violens via MCM, killing the enemy in question, then reactivating Violens until the next problematic enemy helped me through the playthrough it was installed in.
Either way, I eventually just started a game without Violens and only using this. Kill moves from this mod worked fine after that.
I recently found a bug where i have to kill the whiterun elf for dark brotherhood. He was essential though so without heartbreaker i would've been stuck in that mission. I recently uninstalled amazing follower tweaks before adding this & so far so good. Thanks, great mod!
You actually can with the Sacrosanct mod. That's why this mod is soo helpful to me, give's me a steady source of hearts to make potions of blood so I don't have to keep going back to castle Volkihar every 10 in-game days or so.
It seems I can only activate a heart rip through dialogue menu, which is a tad immersion breaking. With dialogue option checked, I can press E and get the option to talk to the NPC bleeding out or to rip heart out. If I uncheck this option, nothing happens when I press E. I also tried keymapping M3 as a hot key fpr heart rip instead of E - that didn’t work either. What am I doing wrong?

Update Suggestion:
Kill-move works on ghosts, but instead of hearts - you gain a filled common, greater or grand soul gem.
