The supposedly "bright white" PotW boots (the tall ones, not the folded-down ones) and Belt from this retex are actually tan colored, almost flesh colored. I have verified that the new files asharabootswhite.dds and asharabeltwhite.dds from this mod are correctly placed in /Data/Textures/Ashara/PrinceOfTheWoods/, but unfortunately they both display as light brown and not even close to any shade of white, or even the gray of the original PotW mod.

Although I didn't install the light brown version of this retex, it occurs to me that you may have mixed up the boots and belt texture files, and what I downloaded as "bright white" are in fact the light brown textures for the boots and belt.

PotW is my favorite armor, bar none, but I have hated the dingy gray look of the standard "white" armor and wanted a bright white version for a long time- so it pains me that just when I thought I had found it, it turns out to be partially flawed and thus unusable. *cry*

So now I'm going back to SydneyB's page and manually downloading the PotW package (I installed it ages ago with NMM, but that install doesn't give me easy access to the individual texture files) just to get the standard gray boots and belt textures that pretend to be white and manually copy them into place over this retex file. I guess the dingy gray items masquerading as "white" are better with the white armor than flesh-colored ones.

    :/

As this is a 're-texture', wouldn't it be better to have some 'close-ups'?
Can't see the details from there.
(I think I like it, tho')
