For that you need the original "MQKillDragonScript" & "dragonactorscript". If this mod does not work for you this means that some other plugin ruined base game scripts or original quest.

- pour ceux qui n'ont pas "dragonactorscript" dans script... c'est à cause de l'ordre de chargement, il faut mettre "unofficial skyrim patch" AVANT "unofficial dragonborn patch"..!

I tried so many fixes... This is the only one that ended up working for me. The author of this mod is a wonderful being and I shall love them until my dying breath.
How did you make it work? I have the "MQKillDragonScript" & "dragonactorscript" scripts located in my Data/Scripts folder and it still doesn't work. Tried running it without my bugfixes mods, but that didn't work either.

my install of skyrim is bugged and the first dragon you fight in the storyline keeps not thanos-snapping so i always make sure this mod is enabled at the start. very helpful
