I CAN'T SAY IF THERE WILL BE SKYRIM SPECIAL EDITION PORT OF THIS MOD because I can't get SSE and I don't have much love for Skyrim actually to make such double work for my mods. Sorry if you liked it and wanted to SSE.
If someone wants to port any of my mods to SSE then you have my permission, no need to ask, just send me the link for mod's page so I can put it on regular mod version's page. Also never use that ports for any profit because they include other authors' assets.
He has to be right in front of Riverwood entrance, that one which you enter after escaping from Helgen. Sometimes followers just don't appear, I've experienced this bug myself several times. Try to on/off this mod in Skyrim launcher, or try to load another save file if possible, or try to save near Riverwood and load this save, this usually helped me.
Added him and.. talked to him and he has no option to follow me. Is that supposed to happen? Just curious. I have the latest version of him though so dunno what went wrong..
No, it's not supposed to happen. Try to change something in your mod load order if you have some follower framework overhaul installed (like UFO, AFT, etc) or try to hire him from another save. Or try to google any decisions about such problems with default followers, because he uses same system.
No, it's not supposed to conflict, he should work fine with UFO like all other standart followers (I use UFO too in my game). Try to put Anders esp under UFO esp in your mod load order.
Soooo.... Anders has no face. =| He has eyes and teeth, but no face and no hair. Which makes no sense because I downloaded the stand alone one that is supposed to have his face and hair already in it. I already had the Apachii hair, but I downloaded the stand alone just to be safe.
Honestly, I think the problem here is that something messed up between the manual install and the fact that all of my other mods are installed with NMM. While the Anders file does show up in the list of data files you can see through the Skyrim launcher, he doesn't show up on the NMM list at all.
I also made sure that he was at the bottom of the data file list, so any and all hair and face files load before he does. Again though, he doesn't show up on the list in NMM so I dunno what to do with him.
Sorry, I guess I didn't make myself clear. I did the manual install. I was merely saying it was strange that Anders didn't show up on NMM after installation.
Anyway, yeah, I did the manual installation and he showed up faceless. Any ideas why?
Oh, then I think something may be wrong with the standalone version of the mod. But I don't even have the game installed on my computer right now and I can't check it, I'm sorry. You may try non-standalone then, if you have Apachii hairs installed.
This mod made me go back to playing Skyrim after months and months of not playing. Now, being Hawke as the dragonborn and Anders following me around has made the game fresh for me (some of the situations I get in seem a lot funnier with Hawke). My Anders doesn't seem as pretty as yours, even with the right texture mod for his face, but I think that just might be a lighting issue, because he looks wonderful in some screenshots and a little meh, in others.
But I'm overall very happy with it and I'm really grateful you took the time to do this.
Been on a Dragon Age binge but have been wanting to get back to Skyrim. Couldn't bear to do it without my best buddies from DA though, and Anders is one of them. Thank you so much! I will miss his overdramatic battle screams though.
This is amazing and wonderful. Now I can play Skyrim while waiting for DA:I to come out. Not sure if you can recruit companions in Oblivion and Morrowind since I've yet to start those, but if you can, would you ever be willing to make an Anders for those games?

The path is Documents/My games/Skyrim/Saves
You need to place the file to 'Saves' folder.
I'm sorry but I know how to work only with Skyrim's Creation Kit. Maybe I'll try Oblivion CS later but I don't know for sure.
thank you for this <3
