Backing up my settings, incase I need to reinstall,so I don't forget. It should work for other NVIDIA cards, and ini's should be ok for other types. If you wanna use it for yourself, please change the iSize W and iSizeH to your resolution, and change the sD3DDevice to your card(copy line from your's before replacing) before running launcher or Skyrim.
Update 1: I added the skyrim.ini you put in same place as the prefs, and the skyrim_default.ini you put in your main folder where Skyrim is installed.
Update 2:Changes image for new videocard settings for the 314 drivers.Basically use Supersampling at 2x-8x,instead of Multisampling.
Update 3:Use latest 331.65 drivers or better.Pretty much set Skyrim to Ultra with a few tweaks(you can use 4xAA but might have a small performance hit in open areas, also newer driver settings. It's balanced for a higher quality, and steady 30FPS,which keeps the card temps at about 45-50C.I also updated my PC specs, since things changed. You will notice mouse is a tiny bit laggy in menu, but it is fine ingame.
What I use/recommend...
Official Elder Scrolls HD pack (for any videocard with 2GB+ RAM preferably)
http://store.steampowered.com/dlc/72850/
Seems to work better for me on windows 8 64bit and a 1GB card, possibly cause it has metter memory management on the OS.If you have issues like crashing, insert HighResTexturePack01.bsa, HighResTexturePack02.bsa, HighResTexturePack03.bsa to the sResourceArchiveList= line in your Skyrim_default.ini ,after Skyrim - Textures.bsa and disable(or delete) the ESP files for the HighRes packs. It'll fix the few glitches(firepit, chop block, and a few others),and let you use other packs without issues.
