Very nice tweak. I always wondered why the remains of freshly killed dragons would be so clean.

On Skyrim SE? I thought it is only avaliable on Vanilla Skyrim.

Most texture mods in legendary edition will work out of the box in SE, with exceptions for landscape/environmenta mods.

I am just curious, but I was trying to do a comparison between this mod and the one by Gamwich and discovered that the files are named differently.

The textures from this mod are named dragonskeleton1.dds and dragonskeleton1_n.dds, while Gamwich's mod names them dragonskeleton01.dds and dragonskeleton01_n.dds respectively.

Will that have any effect on these textures properly displaying ingame?

I had the same question. After a bit of poking around, I do not believe it would. This one, Bloody Dragon Bones, changes the mesh of the dragon, while Rustic Dragon Corpse changes the texture itself.
So, probably not, but I would not combine the gory version of Rustic Dragon Bones with this just to be safe.

Hi, console peasant here, I was wondering if you would consider porting this to Xbox One or would give permission to me, or someone that's a modder to port it over? Really hope you'll consider it

I love this simple mod. Makes a big visual difference. Would it be possible to see a "bloody" re-texture for all skeletons? The pasty white looks out of place for them all I feel, since most skeletons around Skyrim are of rotting corpses, save for the ones in crypts with mainly use their own meshes & textures.

on the bones or on the ground ? because the enhanced blood texture mod is needed for the ground

I don't understand exactly how 1.1 is able to differentiate between slain and placed skeletons without using a plugin, so I guess it's magic.

    Beautiful, bloody magic!

It's most likely because of the new mesh file that comes with this mod. Instead of making a regular texture replacer (what the original version did), the author instead made the new bloody textures a different path (added a "1" in the name), and then included the mesh file which links the dragon skeleton to the new textures.

Since other user of dragon skeletons, like Dragonsreach, is its own mesh while using default texture, it's not affected by the bloody textures of this mod.

      MAGIC!
