Hey all -- It's been a while since I've been in Skyrim land. I currently don't even have classic+SKSE installed. I had initially offered to help Towawot with comments such, since he so graciously helped me out with my A Closer Look mod, but please understand that I may not be able to help much with current issues (though I can certainly try.)
I'm new with my gaming PC, and I've longed waited to download PC mods into Skyrim. This mod I was most anticipated for, next to the Serana Dialogue Add-On. So, I downloaded and enabled this mod through Vortex. Everything went smoothly except for one thing: every time I enable this particular mod, the game never launches. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if this mod needs to be downloaded in a different way.
Hi great mod. How do I set the ini so that it will zoom in on the NPC in dialogue and then switch over to the PC when responding? Right now it is set looking over my PC's shoulder which kinda defeats the original purpose of what I wanted as it is very far away from the person I talk to.
I've messed around several times in the ini and I'm not getting it.
Every once in awhile in a cramped space it zooms into the NPC and switches over to my PC which is awesome. Over the shoulder perspective not a fan of.
So, I tried this mod and here is how it behaved: Be it 3rd or 1st person, the camera focused where my character was facing, or my aim, instead of the npc and I could not control it using the mouse on the edges of the screen (completely fixed). So if I not aim to the npc, my camera misses completely. And what happened frequently is it did not tacked the npc so they just walked away from the camera focus. It was a nightmare on scripted locked conversations like Tolfdir first lesson on the College. The comera followed nothing at all I keep looking at empty space. Any solutions? Or at least a setting that unlock camera movement in the conversation? The mods I use that have camera functions are Customizable Camera and Skytweak (maybe Relationship Dialogues Overhaul because of npc behavior? Idk) . But they should not interfere as far as I know.
This one still my favorite of the conversation camera mods as I really don't like alternating cameras which can be cool but it's not my cup of tea overall, for me zooming in is much more immersive and makes much more sense. And it's much more oblivion so +1 point there. Thanks a lot!
So I just started using this and I agree with others that it COULD BE a game changing mod. However it has stopped behaving for me. Last night I installed Breezehome TNF and logged out saved in Breezehome. When I logged in just now the camera pans in to nothing and locks and I am unable to come out of that lock or rotate my character around. Game restarts dont help, as it locks within a few seconds of entering game so I cant play and its a game breaker for me.
I think it is a vanilla bug, but maybe I am mistaken. I encounter such issue by carriage traveling, mining. I remember that pesky bug and I had it even without this mod and it is in SSE, so...
Check any other mods you have installed that mess with cameras and 1st/3rd-person views. This mod has nothing to do with house overhauls, unless the furniture is forcing your camera view. Like a bath tub would these days.
This isn't necessarily true. If you disable "conversation facelight", assuming you use the mod Facelight Plus, they will work together fine. I assume you mean the crash that occurs when entering or exiting a conversation, right?

Simple Face to Face Conversation Kiwami - Updated by NasGorTelorCeplok is HERE.
Been running this mod for years; I cannot imagine Skyrim without it. Never had a single issue traceable back to this mod.
Highly recommended.

Thnaks!

Does anyone know how to fix?
Apart from that incompatibility this is an excellent mod! And I endorsed.
