This mod did not function in my game. The old entrance to Dayspring disappeared, and only an arrow showing where its supposed to be, but no longer possible to enter the canyon at all.
THANK YOU! It always bothered me too that the entrance is so small - how do trolls even fit there? xD Thanks again for making and sharing even making an SSE version. Wow
I think this mod is great, but I wish the canyon wasn't right next to the border gate. Because of where it is, it conflicts with Beyond Skyrim as both mods edit the Border Region Skyrim - this is the thing that determines the invisible wall at the edge of the map. This means you won't be able to enter Cyrodiil in Beyond Skyrim if this mod loads below it.
If the canyon entrance was moved back to where it was in vanilla, but widened like it is in the mod here, that would be perfect, as then the Border Region Skyrim wouldn't need to be edited and the conflict with Beyond Skyrim wouldn't exist.
i guess the prevailing theory is that changing some Location entries for whatever reason, is Bad and can cause strangeness and performance impact in exteriors. this mod changes the NAM0 AND NAM9 in DLC1HunterHQWorld "Dayspring Canyon" [WRLD:03001DB8] a great deal. they should be -9 and 5. u have them at -27 n 53. that may be why earlier posts are asking about the map marker being moved ect. so are those setting really needed or can we change them? thanks
Does this mod conflict with mods that alter fort dawnguard or the surrounding areas? The description makes it sound like any hand placed items will be offset. Haven't actually played though the dawnguard content so i don't have anything particular in mind. Edit: scratch that, I read more of the posts and my suspicions seem correct; going to avoid this one.
Having the same issue. Not sure of how to fix short of editing the esp myself, but then again that either means something is wrong with my game which I doubt since Tes5Edit doesn't show any edits other than this mod, or maybe the author didn't upload the right file.
I have been able to use your mod before without a problem. It is a great improvement over the vanilla version.
Now I want my character to be able to ride his horse to the castle through the pass. Unfortunately, I get the standard error message that appears when trying to make a horse enter a cave (something about you must dismount, etc.). This is kind of immersion breaking because visually it looks like there is plenty of room to ride through.
If you are planning an update soon, it would be great if you could include this fix as well.
Any issues with Horses on patrol Dawnguard or Fort Dawnguard Overhaul (the latter isn't on Nexus but sounds like the best Dawnguard citadel altering modification)?

It looks very weird to walk to Dayspring pass(near Silgrid's pass) to then be WAY South.
In short my map doesn't look like the picture.
Didd I do something or is this a common bug?

Is your map marker for the Dayspring Canyon WAY south? Like it isn't located like on the map in the images?
Would greatly appreciate your help
