I am using vivid weathers, according to the description it says that it is incompatible with any mod that modifies snowflakes, but I installed yours, reinstalled vivid and it looks great, thank you very much for the work and sharing it
It seems to partially work, but I think there might be a new snowflake texture sheet somewhere for lighter snow storms or something, because the textures don't always show up while it's snowing. Haven't looked into making a version for SSE yet, but I might in the future, because it turns out that after 5ish years, I still prefer my snowflakes to other stuff out there, haha. But I can't say I've really looked.
If you or anyone else wants to look into it yourself, feel free. Can't promise I'll never do the same, though.
Unrelated to that, I'm also gonna suggest that everyone check out the "Nordic Snow" mod for SSE. No snowflakes in it, but the ground textures are phenomenal imo.
Hit the NMM button or download manully and import it into NMM. Double click the sucker in the mods-tab of NMM and there you go :-) You can't mess things up that way and try out all the offered files easily.
Just tried out "Whimsical" and I absoutly adore it. Pairing this with "Deeper Snow" aka "More Snow" by zappoo really makes snow storms BEAST! Great mod, makes me fast travel much less! Endorsement on its way!
I like Whimsical. Light and Magical make things too visible so I don't feel like im in a snowstorm =)
Not a problem with this mod, but one i was hoping this mod would fix. Some of my snowflakes in the game are black. This is particularly noticeable when i look up at the sky =( I was hoping that because this mod replaces the textures that it would get rid of that problem for me, but it retextured all the white ones and I still have black blobs falling. Any1 else have a black snowflake problem they managed to fix?
