Honestly would love to see this in SSE or AE, would be fun to play through again.

I'm surprised at how short the mod is, but it sure was enjoyable.  There were a couple of problems I had with it, but they were technical things rather than the many many gripes you've had to endure here about religion in a video game (seriously, folks, it's a single player game, nobody's forcing you to download this if you don't want to use it).

The main problems I had were that 1) as another user mentioned the hitboxes on the big guys were really low; 2) some of the enemies clipped into the walls while fighting, and 3) there were a couple of places in the tombs themselves where I ended up falling through the floor.  In one such place I had to noclip my way out (after shutting down the game and restarting because the console commands stopped working at exactly the same time... gotta love Bethesda sometimes, lol), and in another place I fell clean out of the map and got teleported back to the front door.

I don't understand why people are bothered by the "modesty" feature, as you can easily use the alternate .esp to remove it, and the things the mod adds far outweigh, in my opinion, any negatives that might occur because someone was bothered by the addition of such things.  My personal favorite addition was the stereo system in the lodge.  Also it was a nice touch to have light armor variants of the armors that you offered, as I normally play a light armor character.

You obviously put a lot of work into this mod, and I for one applaud you for it.  Especially considering what all wasn't available to modders when you first made this mod, it was quite an achievement.  I do hope to see an SSE version eventually, if you or someone else can.   But even if it never gets one, it's a very creatively made mod, uses a lot of Old Testament lore as well as some from the New.  I also liked the music that played in the tombs, had a really epic feel to it.

Overall, it's an excellent mod with just a few minor technical hiccups and with a message that may be off-putting to some... but as I said above, there's no one forcing you to use it if you don't want to have a lot of Bible stuff in it.  Personally, I liked it, a lot.

I added some screenshots of the game with vanilla body and textures, having only a couple of gameplay mods and Alternate Start for ease of use, and I installed the "modesty" version of this mod.  There are none of those so-called "burn marks" on my female character.  I have equipped multiple clothing sets, and consoled in an Iron Armor piece, as well as a screenshot involving the roughspun tunic you're given as a prisoner in Alternate Start.

I even added a screenshot of my character "Naked" with the modesty feature installed.  Not only are there no burn marks, but it's also not all that bad to look at.  She basically just looks like she's wearing a raggedy bathrobe.

I hope the mod author approves of these screens, as I did them to counter the complaint I keep seeing about "burn marks" on the female characters.  The mod author says it's not this mod causing it, and given what I've experienced and added in my own screenshots, I agree with him.  If you want to avoid the "burn marks," either use the vanilla body and textures with the "modesty feature," or use the "immodesty" option with your custom bodies and textures.

i got to admit i'm actually pretty impressed with this mod, even though it was created back in 2013 and the modding scene was in it's infancy, i have only ran into one other Christian mod like this, but i don't remember if the modder actually finished the mod or not, but it was very ambitus of a mod as the author wanted to play out actual bible stories within his mod, not sure if this mod does the same, i just watched a youtuber play it showcasing it and everything.

but it's cool to have a visual representation of what it would be like in the stories of the bible, one i would like to see is when Moses parted the sea and lead his people across it, i can only imagine how such an effect would be possible within skyrim's very limited engine capabilities.

i suppose the effect of the sea could be caused by having the water fall animation be reversed to go up when he plants his staff into the sand and raises his hands and says the words, idk what he said, i'm not very much of a bible thumper, but i do enjoy some of the stories when it comes to the amazing things that took place.

maybe the player plays as Moses reenacting the events as they unfold?

God bless brother. I hope you returned to God, I was agnostic for a time and it is something one can get over. Christ loves you and will welcome you if you so seek him to do so.

lol absolute lost soul moment. Please, brother, pick up a Bible (Catholic, Orthodox or KJV will do) and educate yourself before spewing nonsense online. At least know what you're talking about before you disagree.

Never let religion seep into a video game. Also...Modesty Feature? This is a FANTASY game you bunghole! It doesn't follow Earth's 12th century definition of "acceptable" Also, if you wanted to add a modesty feature, don't make it a burnt carcass that makes us all die inside.

There is religion in the game. If a mod author wants to add one more, there should not be a problem.

I know this is old but to reply to abc here, there is a difference between implementing a religion into something, and forcing that religion down into that very thing you are implementing it to. It CAN work, lorebreaking or otherwise, but the way the mod author did it was not the best way at all, as it comes off as in your face screaming like a banshee, making unnecessary changes like the modesty features, and just throwing in religious text which is humorously in old english. [word of advice, if you want people to get into the bible dont lead them to the version thats really really hard to understand and is more then likely inaccurate to the actual original hebrew text it was translated from]

Are you really getting pissy over Christianity in a game about a man who shouts really loud, giant lizards with wings, sex goddesses, elves with crazy machines, and so much other weird lore s#*!?  Now that's comedy.

Religion > video games. Pick up a Bible (Catholic, Orthodox or KJV) and read it brother, then tell me you still feel the same.
