If it's not too much hassle, I would love to see that fix ported back into the LE! This is still the only auto potion/poison mod that meets all my needs.
I've started suffering from the previously reported infuriating bug where random NPCs get placed in the player's inventory. It happens in combat only. Been using Swift potion since level 1, I now am around 24. Gonna disable the mod for a while then reenable it and see if it still happens, although if it's a bug with JContainers I doubt I'll be able to get rid of it without uninstalling the mod. Also the potion effect dropdown menus in the MCM show the wrong effects, but that's only a minor issue.
This was a major issue for me. I'd advise anyone installing this mod to be aware that for some reason the mod starts placing npcs in your inventory. yes NPCS. they have weight of 50+ so all of a sudden you realize you are overcumbered then when you check your invent and drop the item its a freaking goat or imperial soldier or bandit.
The mod seems to work as intended for the auto potions and hotkeys, however.... Honestly i thought this was just crazy talk when reading the comment, but after playing for an hour i can confirm the same. Found a Slaughterfish in my inventory while selling loot in a store, which could be dropped on the floor.
And there are more issues with this mod; since you can't unbind the hotkeys, and they default to ESC, you may drink potions everytime you press ESC to open the menu. Only workaround is to put the hotkey on a button you don't use. Likewise you can't clear a potion in a quickslot unless you remove all potions from your inventory. Also i got two CTDs while testing, though it's hard to prove that this mod actually caused them.
Well i hope you can make the necessary fixes, because after returning from Fallout 4 to Skyrim after several years, i found the game extremely unconvenient to play as a mage. Simply because of the stone-age system of having hundreds of different mana / health potions which all require their own favorites slot.
Good mod, but: - Food Consumption is quite slow, making it unrealiable in combat - Causes some crashes in my game, because I have a lot (a LOT) of items in my inventory (won't happen to most players, with normal inventory space)
If you encounter these same issues, they don't appear in this other mod : https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51486
Yes! Another Fantastic mod! Absolutely love it.. Though I only played with it a few days after discovering it, on Skyrim.. I now have switched to Skyrim SE - I do hope this gets implemented to work with Special Edition Thank you Sandman53 !!
The BSA version of Chesko's Swift Potion does not work in SE, but the no BSA version does work. Just tried it. YAY! Looking forward to when this one is available when SKSE is out but I'll take it
Edit: After some more testing, I was getting some random CTDs in SE using Chesko's Swift Potion and Auto Harvest. They were not occurring in a predictable manner so I'm not sure which of them was doing it but after disabling both, no more crashes.Guess I'll wait for this mod to be ported to SE.
This mod has been working great for me but I did notice something odd if I try to change the effect for one of the potions from the default health/stamina/magic, it doesn't recognize any available effects for me including the health/stamina/magic effects that are already selected by default. I'm guessing this is some conflict with either Perkus Maximus or Complete Alchemy and Cooking overhaul but not sure. Anyway resetting it via the MCM put the original effects back and it still works fine just can't set it to use any new effects.
This mod is fantastic. I have always hated having to hotkey potions and then try to make use of them at critical moments in combat without messing up my ability to move around and avoid hits, spells, etc. This mod makes the process automatic. It does mean sometimes I'll drink a few potions that I didn't really need to but that's fine. I can't imagine playing without this mod now.

I may consider making similar changes to this version of the mod as well as many people have reported the NPCs showing up in their inventories.
