   I don't know why, I have skyrim 1.8 + dawnguard too and work fine. Erase yours .ini files and create a new .ini.

   Yup... doesn't work with my skyrim 1.8 + dawnguard.
   
   adding lines in the ini file doesn't help too. my grass ins't even close to this. actually its the same as it was.
