Just to everyone know: Here, in 2021, this mod work like a charm, even in SSE. I prefer to change the time to be more immersive, but even without edit, it works perfectly!
Hey.... might be I am completly stupid, but this mod just does not work for me :(
I have Longer Days or Nights 1.1 and the 4 hours longer days dawnguard files installed, but the nights are still as long as before (the sun sets and rises the same time as it did before).
At least as far as I recall... dawn is around 6 am for me, but afaik it should be 4 am with longer days... beat me if I am wrong, haha.
I ran across a glitch in another similar mod where if you save inside at any time and then quit the game and reload, the mod's day/night cycle breaks. I looked at both this mod and that mod in xedit and they do the same thing, so I assume the same is true with this one. The workaround is to never end your sessions indoors. Or, if you do: go outside, then exit the game, then restart from your autosave and it will be the right time of day again.
You want "Immersive timescale" "Longer days or nights" changes the hour for dusks and dawn, while "immersive timescale" increases the duration of time x2.
I want to use this mod for SE, and I'm assuming I can since it doesn't say it requires SKSE. Or, if it requires SKSE, does it partially work (if that's possible in this case) as SkyUi? Also, if I use TES5Edit to change the days to longer, under "climate", do I need to change all six categories, or can I just change "default" or any other?
What is BloatedMansClimate anyway? I recognize the others.
you know.... Time depends on Planet rotation now how many moons it has.... It has 24 hours bcs its just the way we use.. am pretty sure its tweakable somehow...
I have had a look at it and its in incredibly simple piece of code. Conceivably you could open it with Tes5edit and alter the times? Its a sun-up/sun-down timecycle.
This is one of those little mods that makes a big difference. Its awesome having the option for shorter days. It makes much more of a cold winter skyrim feeling. It does sometimes stop working inexplicably, but saving then loading an old save then reloading the first one usually sorts it out.

Thanks for the mod.
Ideally I'd like to setup an MCM menu that allows people to customize day and night durations in game but I don't know if it's possible.

I don't see why it could be incompatible with W&C. The only incompatibility can be with mods that change climate/weather or vampires.
