---------------
1. Introduction
---------------

This mod adds one of my all time favorite weapons from an Oblivion mod to Skyrim. It is a detailed replica of Zack's Buster Sword from the game "Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core" for the Sony Playstation Portable or PSP. It was NOT made by me. It was made by another modder named DemonZariche. His original mod can be found on TESNEXus at:

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20106

I liked his version of the sword so much that I also ported it to Morrowind. That mod can be found at PlanetElderScrolls website:

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7123

And I also converted it to work in Fallout 3. Here it is on Fallout3Nexus:

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10650

If you like the sword model than please download and rate it on DemonZariche's Oblivion mod page also.

2. Installation
---------------

Extract the contents of "Skyrim Bustersword.rar" into your Skyrim\Data folder and activate the mod by placing a checkmark in the box next to "FF7 Bustersword.esp" in the Data Files in the Skyrim launcher menu. If you have the Steam version of Skyrim the default installation directory should be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim" for 64-bit operating systems or "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim" for 32-bit operating systems. Substitute "C:\" for the appropriate drive letter; E:\, F:\, G:\, etc. if necessary.

4. Description
--------------

Until the Skyrim Construction Set is released we have to make due with TESSnip. The sword has not been placed anywhere on the map. This time you have to craft it yourself. All it takes is the Steel Smithing perk and you can make your very own Buster Sword at your local neighborhood forge. It takes 4 leather strips, 4 gold ingots, and a heaping 20 steel ingots. The sword is upgradable to Legendary status, and is enchantable as well.

There is now an optional one-handed version that you can craft as well. All damage points, weight, and damage are the same.

Currently, it's default damage value is set to 30. Remember folks, this is not the exact damage amount that shows up in-game. Your character's stats and level affect the weapon's damage also. For a reference, the Skyforge Greatsword's default damage is set at 20.

The "BloodEdge" file used with the Skyrim weapon meshes has also been added to the Bustersword to allow all the blood and gore to stick to the blade.

(Updated 12-7-2011) By popular request I made the handle slightly longer to be more accurate to the original Crisis Core Buster Sword

Also, I changed the Name that shows in the inventory menu. Instead of "Bustersword" it is now "Buster Sword" as requested.

----------------
5. Bugs/Glitches
----------------

The damage range of the sword is too short; Which means if you swing the Buster at an enemy and just graze him with the very tip of your sword. . . The game won't register a hit. Aside from the clipping you will experience with most armor, clothing, poses, sheathing/unsheathing, blocking and or anything else you might be doing with a huge slab of steel like this. Also, the Bustersword doesn't fit on the weapon racks too well.

If any serious issues arise please leave a comment on the mod's page or send me a message through the website you found the mod at.

This Final Fantasy VII (The number seven for you people who don't know Roman Numerals) Buster Sword was not created by me, DoubleBrewski. It was made by DemonZariche. It's based on a weapon from the game Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core on the Sony PSP. Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core is a registered trademark of SquareEnix.

Open your console by pressing the ~ key
