Added an update on the console versions in the description.
The TLR is that everything except the PS4 Spider Replacer works (albeit with occational crashes). I'll try and start the process of getting it all at 100% near the end of December when I'll have more time. If you are able to do some testing for me at that time shoot me a message.
Anyone know if this guy is coming back to update it for the cc mods? Someone made a cc version but apparently it's not as good as this one and doesn't have the same failsafes.
Does anyone know if this works with the Clockwork mod? The description for the mod says there's one spider ambush early on and I'm terrified that it'll show up. I have all the insects begone mods and patches at the bottom of the load order
I wanted to thank the creator of this mod: there are many mods that replace or remove spiders and similar creatures in skyrim, but there is not a single one that works as well as this one! Even tho i modded my skyrim, it still replaced every spider that there would be. Really WELL MADE mod, thank you ~ The only thing I would like to mention, is that imho the forstbite spiders should not be replaced with bears, but with something smaller, more manageble like wolves or sabertooths. Why? Because not only they appear in the first levels, but even directly when escaping Helgen and to fight 3-4 bears at the same time at this stage is INSANELY hard. Doable as they don't deal the same damage, but they got the amount of health which means you need to hit them A LOT! Also they are extremely loud and because they are omnipresent, it can be really annoying.
But even tho everything would stay as is, there is just no better mod that makes the game more playable for me as an arachnophobic, for some it is even the only way one can enjoy this great game. Thanks for making and sharing this ~

Es gibt sehr viele Mods, welche die Spinnen und Spinnenähnlichen Tiere in Skyrim austauschen oder verschwinden lassen, doch es gibt keine die so allumfassend funktioniert wie diese. Ich habe sogar Dungeons hinzugefügt durch andere Mods und diese Mod hier hat auch die Spinnen in den reingemoddeten Dungeons ausgetauscht. Wirklich SEHR gut gemachte Mod! Danke ~ Die einzige Kritik die ich dazu geben kann ist der Wunsch, dass die Frostbissspinnen nicht mit Bären ausgetauscht werden sollten, sondern lieber mit einem anderen Tier. zB Wölfe, oder Säbelzahntiger. Wieso? Weil es zu Anfang in den ersten paar Lvln (vor allem aber auch in Helgen selbst wo man ja zunächst entkommen muss) extrem schwer ist Bären zu töten. Ausserdem sind Bären extrem laut in Skyrim und dadurch dass sie dann so allgegenwärtig sind wie es sonst die Frostbissspinnen sind... kann das schon nerven.
Trotzdem, selbst wenn das so bleiben sollte gibt es einfach keine bessere Mod, welche Arachnophobikern wie mir Skyrim angenehmer macht und ich danke für das Erstellen und veröffentlichen!
A time ago, I was terrified when I saw the spider in Bleak Falls Arrow, and my friend found this mod... Thank you so much for creating this! It's a relief to play Skyrim without having to see scary spiders!
I switched Chaurus to Skeevers too, as a precaution...
I extremely fear big insects and years ago i couldn't finis the fucking dewemer stupid quests but now thanks to you I can finally slay those falmer bastards and finally finish this game thanks so much man YOUR A LIFE SAVVER
