After i installed it, i checked active effects, i had one ring equipped and everything was normal. Then i put on the second ring, checked active effects again, and i had both rings show as active enhancements, as well as two enhancements for fortify block from my enchanted shield??? I reloaded the save and tried again, same thing. I unequipped both rings but i still had two fortify shield from my shield enchantment. Then i went and disabled/uninstalled the mod, loaded a save (last save) before i tried the mod/rings, and now when i have no ring equipped it STILL shows 2 shield enhancements AND the two different ring enhancements that i am not wearing??? The only way i solved this was to revert to the second/third-last manual save, i bought two random enchanted rings to see if this still persists and it seemed to be alright. But even if you uninstall the mod, all the saves you load after installing it become bugged with this, and it says the saves rely on content no longer available(obviously) So yeah, like another lad here mentioned i am better off using one ring than have 1000 enhancements out of nowhere in my active effects and become godmode in a matter of hours.
No you don't, you have 8 fingers and 2 thumbs, unless you are a mutant.
AD& always allowed two magickal rings and two only, one on each hand. So did Daggerfall, Morrowind and Oblivion. That is why Skyrim is retarded and mods like this are needed. Using 10 rings at once is just stupid.
Pimps, Adam Strange, Mandarin, and Thanos would disagree LOL
Come to thing of it, if rings gave me power in an environment in which fighting is common like Skyrim, I'd be dumb not to have a ring on each finger (including thumbs just in case you feel like being a smart a$$ again haha)
Many moons ago I had this debate during a D&D campaign. It was also addressed in Dragon magazine.
The consensus was, the magical field around each ring would conflict if kept in close proximity to a similar field for a period of time. The conclusion was more involved then that, but that's the essence.
Of course, the other conclusion was, stop being a frikkin' munchkin!
The thumb is a digit, and each hand has 5 digits, and each digit is numbered from 1 to 5 (with the thumb of each hand considered to be the first digit). Digits are synonymous with fingers. Each digit is made up of bones known as phalanges, the only difference being that the thumb has only two phalanges (proximal phalanx and distal phalanx), while each of the other digits also has a middle phalanx. With so many similarities, it is logical to call then all digits (or fingers), but also logical to call one of the fingers a thumb (just as we have a larger group of false ribs, but separate floating ribs within that group). To put it anothet way, all thumbs are fingers, but not all fingers are thumbs
i dont see any mods available for SSE that do same or even similar as to what this mod does, theres the completely useless "left hand ring" mod which is REALLY really useless and pointless, rings that can only be equipped for left hand? and you have to enchant them yourself.. theres that unlimited rings mod.. which im tempted to try now seeing that.. its really the only way i can equip 2 rings LOL.. (i would have to fight my further temptation to wear every single ring and amulet in the game) i will be trying to contain myself and wear only 2...
Can you see a ring on both hands? if not, well s#*! thats a damn shame.
Edit: Nope it still shows only One ring, when i'm wearing two rings. why is it so hard to implement a feature from an OLDER game?. You could wear two rings in Oblivion, and it shows you wearing two rings. sigh.
This mod has a bug with AH Hotkeys. I never noticed until now. Initially, it appears to work well with AH Hotkeys-- you can set an equipset to equip two different types of rings. However; when you switch to an equipset with another pair of rings, one ring (in my case, the Ring of Major Magicka) will have its effect stack instead of switching over.
I tried to troubleshoot it by enabling an option provided by AH Hotkeys that unequips anything not listed on the equipset list, but it didn't work.
UPDATE: The only ring mod AH Hotkeys didn't conflict with is Left Hand Rings. Currently using LHR for my equips.
In the description you say you can't figure out to equip the exact same ring, but I was thinking -I didn't read much of this thread- was back when I downloaded a Color Wallpaper App for android and the Dev put in a Save as .PNG file function/button, but didn't give each file a new name (1/2/3/etc) each time so it would overwrite the last file and users could only have 1 .PNG file at a time.
If you add in something like an Enchantment that makes each ring different (Position 2/3/etc - "Can wear on any finger" and maybe the number indicates the exact finger say 1 Far Left Pinky and 10 for Far Left Thumb unless you have 6-8 Fingers -paws/webhands- then 4-2 would stack in front of another ring) then the game will see it as different and allow you to equip the same ring.
As well could you make it so it goes up to 10 (Allow "Position 2/3/etc" to be added through Enchant for say free/Nothing required or any item)
I'm having a few issues with this mod. I installed it after doing Hircine's quest, so that shouldn't be what's causing the problem, but when I equip Hircine's ring to my other hand, or either hand actually, it's effect doesn't work. I've tried both fixes suggested in the mod's description, as well as deactivating then reactivating the mod. Is there anything else I should try?
I wont to be able to wear the ring you get when you find Katria body, I think it's called the Zephyr ring and I wont to also wear the nightweaver ring, well this mod allow this?
I have some popular disenchanted mods installed but read or heard that one of the two rings mentioned above can't be disenchanted

It depends on the player if its unbalanced or not, not the mod...w-e

That's my story an' ima stick 2 it. ;)
Other mods that do this rings thing are not good and simple as this one.
