I, too, am making a "craftable robes" mod. Unfortunately, there don't seem to to be that many resources for looms or bolts of cloth out there...

Wow, awesome modder's resource! Looks really cool and functional!

Now all we need is a modder to make a "Mahatma Gandhi" follower mod, and pretty soon the "Ahimsa Satyagraha" (non-violent revolution/resistance) will sweep through the bloodied snowscapes of Skyrim, and peace & love shall sweep the realm... LOL...

Jokes apart, good work, stroti! You always come up with excellent modder resources - thanks for all your contributions to this community!

Looks great but I noticed one design flaw and that is the U-shaped wooden thing (called flyer) is too large, so that it can't rotate fully. It would get snagged on the drive band. The flyer twists the wool and is supposed to rotate slightly faster than the bobbin, and for that one needs two drive bands, but in the model there is only one.

This would be a very cool way to turn cotton into linen wraps or something.

You cannot find it. This is a modders resource and you have to add it yourself to the game with the Creation Kit. Look at the post below where I linked a tutorial how to do is.

What do you mean. How do I use it? The spinning wheel should be added as static, the stool as furniture and the woolbasket can be a static or a container.
But if you do not know how to do this you should get better acquainted with the CK first to use modders resources.

I am, lol. I'm working on the Better Cities mod.
I have however never tried any mod resource like yours, so I don't know how to "open" them in CK.
Am I supposed to load them as a usual .esp file?
Where should I place those files?

Copy the meshes and textures folder to your data folder and use the meshes in the CK to create new objects.
Have a look at this tutorial: http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/topic/5460-skyrim-workshop-using-modders-resources/

Man this is exactly what I need for my magic mod that adds robe crafting. Great job man; you swelled my heart today! I will definitely endorse and credit you and kudos and all that stuff.

    YEAHHH:
I'm looking at your mods, after having seen the last of fortifications (of stroti only) and love it.
This particular brings back an object existing in Morrowind, if I remember correctly there was also a loom, scissors and something else, I always liked, and I think it would be very useful for some mods where clothes are manufactured, as cloacks of skyrim, with a proper script, if I were you I would contact the author to propose the idea.

    thanks again

You safely can ignore this. I searched the forums for it and it came out that even some of the vanilla stuff causes a similar message. Seems as if nobody knows what it really means. It did not affect my game at all.
