I endorsed this mod as it does what it claims, however, it won't allow dual cast mage armor stat increase.....sorry, but I want the increased armor rating more than being less blue/green. Would like if it could do both, thank you!
Hi, love this mod. Always hated that glow, so went out looking for this exactly.
However, I still get the glow with the Ironflesh spell. I don't know if that's just a problem I have, or if that spell is left out of the mod. If that could be added, that would be awesome.
If not, I guess I'll just tolerate the effects between Stoneflesh and Ebonyflesh.
I love that this (unlike the other mod suggested in this thread) won't remove the visual enchantment effect on your equipped weapon while the spells are active. With the other mod you will have to sheath your weapon and then unsheath it if you don't want the enchantment glow removed. If the only glow you want to remove is the one caused by the protection spells, this is the best mod around.
This works for me, and I use SkyRe. What I noticed is that if you load a save of a character who already has an armor spell applied, he will still be glowing, but if you cast it again, it will not be glowing. So maybe that's why people think it does not work.
Unfortunately neither this or Dalton's mod seems to be working for me. The only reasonable conclusion I can jump to is that they don't work because Skyrim Redone modifies the Mage Armour Spells.
Yeah like if you make an amulet with muffle/hp regen/mp regen then you glow as if you have one of those armor effects. It's a light blue glow around your character. Really shows up annoyingly well with black hair. Shaders Begone fixed it for me though, so no worries.
@ XunAmarox : no, just the armor effect, which are likely to be always on.
@ Thojaim : Khajit sees in the night. Khajit needs no glowing mages. But khajit needs to end his tail glowing, or else khajit fears he will end as an atomic cat-ghoul in the Fallout series.

Still, love this mod. Simple but awesome. Thanks!
