It's alright. I'll figure it out again. I found a complete fix for the problem a long time ago, back when I started using ENB's like Pinapplevision, and others like it. I eventually stopped using them because they were too overpowering for my PC. I found it by using Google and trying several search words. But I remember it coming from the official Bethesda forums.
When and if I find it again, I'll share it with you, so you can put it on the main page, to help others that use your ENB. It is guaranteed to fix that problem with DoF. It worked for me, right away. As soon as I put the value into my Skyrim.INI file, it fixed it when I opened up the game and tried to make a character. Some kind of thing similar to field of view, but it wasn't the field of view value, it was something else. I'll keep in touch about it as soon as I can.
Edit: Yeah, the problem there clearly is the focusing of the dof. My solution to it is very simple, I just turn off ENB (Shift+F12) during character-creation Never searched for an alternative solution, I'm sorry.
Nope, seems like nothing is changed at all outside. I turned it on, and off no change, also I didn't change any settings in the enbseries file or any file. I just placed the required files into the Skyrim directory, just like I do with any ENB config. But for some reason, I only see changes inside.
EDIT: OK. I re-installed the ENB again, to make sure I didn't miss anything and I must have the first time because it's working fantastically now. The only problem I have that I have also experienced on other ENB's is the DOF. There seems to be thing it does that if I try to create a character, while in the process of doing so, my character is so blurry I can't see anything, but if I were to look at it from further away after creation, then the blurr isn't there. I use to know the code I could add into my Skyrim INI file that would let me fix that. Do you know what that is?
The FPS is no problem in this ENB config. The only problem I experience is that when being outside, it seems like no change has happened that I don't even have an ENB installed, but when I'm inside an Inn or something, even a cave... then it clearly indicates I have, and looks amazing. I don't understand why it doesn't work outside. Is there something I can do to fix it?
SSAO (Screen Space Ambient Occlusion) makes, simply said, the lighting more realistic. This ENB is already using a kinda low quality-ssao, which doesn't eat that much performance, but still looks good. Just try turning it off in the .ini (set EnableAmbientOcclusion=true to false) and if you don't like the outcome, turn it on again
What does SSAO do exactly? Is it the main reason that the ENB makes things look so good, or is it something else entirely? I am confused about that, because most SSAO features in ENB's are such an FPS hog that I have to turn them off, but not on this one.

Try pressing Shift+F12 (this normally is the key with which you turn on/off ENB effects).
Anyway, thanks for the praise
