i dont understand what you mean by "Launch Skyrim without clicking on Play" I mean, to Launch Skyrim, you have to click Play (clicking Play launches the game, doesn´t it?!) "DATA Files"?! ..when Launching Skyrim, there is no button "Data Files"
The only File called "Data" i have in my original Skyrim installment on my G-Drive (i use MO2, you know)
I dont get the grey faces away and my College NPC´s (Faralda & Co.) look like the standards - no change there :(
(pretend i am a 10year young boy, you try to explain this to - i bet you would help MANY others, with the same problems, too ;) )
P.S.; what is the Plug-In called, anyway - because i dont have such one in my Plug-In list. Inhabitants.esp or similar?

For those still running into the issue of dark faces, it's a load order issue. I've used this mod since way back in 2014 when I started modding this game along with Skyrim Beautiful Followers and, in my case, This mod's plugin must be above SBF plugin. And I like to keep any plugin that modifies the appearance of vanilla NPCs near the bottom of my load order. So if you are using this mod and another mod that changes the appearance of the vanilla followers, try doing what I did and see if that helps.
my faces don't look smooth like someone mentioned but i don't care this is still the best looking npc overhaul in 2023 I watched mega ultra hq SE mod videos and every single time I think "they should have used npc overhaul my npcs looks way better" anythiong that touches NPCs or race is highy incompatible people if you want this to work with other npc mods some tes5edit is going to be required merci beaucoup ;)
Women are good but men have right hairstyles and face`s morphs but their textures (faces) still like in vanilla not so smooth like on screenshots.I guess i didn`t install some mod(s) but i suppose it is not about those mods from (Mods Used in screenshots) list.
Am I right in thinking I can use this as a base replacer for a ton of npcs and then overwrite with other replacers like Bijin for specific npcs, as long as they're lower in the load order than Inhabitants of Skyrim.
