*** ATTENTION HEARTHFIRE USERS *** There is a minor glitch in the Markarth player home if you have that DLC enabled. One of the linked chests in the smithing room is covered up by what looks like a concrete slab coming out of the wall. This issue is only with Hearthfires enabled, because it replaces a base game object (that this mod moved out of the way) with a different one (that this mod doesn't know about). I can't fix this until i release an official Hearthfire plugin.
To fix it you'll need to open the console. Click on the offending object to select it and type disable.
Instructions for re-naming the chests in TES5Edit: --------------------------------- 1. Open the FunctionalHomes.esm with TES5Edit. 2. Once the loading is done, double click the mod in the tree view on the left to expand it. 3. Double Click the "Container" tree item to expand it. 4. Select the container in the list you want to rename. 5. In the right-pane, right-click on the value next to the "FULL - Name" record, and select edit.
There are two chests for each of the linked chests. One is a marker and is invisible (serves as an anchor point), and one is the actual chest that moves from home to home. The "real" chests are the ones that have names prefixed with a star. Those are the ones you should rename. Only edit the "FULL - Name" record. Do not mess with the EditorID.
Note: The general "* Equipment" chests have numbered EditorID's. To help you identify which chest is which they appear like this on the shelves in-game (.ie Breezehome).
Lastly, feel free to remove the star prefix if you don't want them. I only included that to help new users identify which chests were the ones that are linked in every home.
hey great mod love it but only got a problem it removed everything from proudspire home master bedroom chest after i installed it so now i have lost all the stuff ive gathered in my 40hrs+ playthrough including unique gear
why are the added containers clip on the existing containers in arch-mage quarters? --- oldrim legendary ps. i don't have any house mods/arch-mage quarter mods
Been loving the changes to the homes I've used so far, well only breezehome. Problem is that the chests that are supposed to be on the added shelves after purchasing everything are missing in the SSE version. I've made certain that nothing was clashing with the ported mod, but the modder who ported the mod over thinks that the creation club may have broken the link, but hasn't gotten round to fixing it. I at first was using vortex till another member told me about MO2. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/31041?tab=posts

One of my favourite mods ever! I wish we could get an update after all these years... A garden for example, would be absolutely amazing! The only thing I feel missing in Breezehome.
how could I miss this all those years >< (thanks youtubers !) I've been using Elianora's Thornrock mostly because of the storage considering her other houses look way better but this fixes my storage problem with bonus features and without adding a new house in the world :D a great weight has been lifted, storage fixed now I can install a useless for hoarding but awesome looking house you can use Jaxonz renamer to easily rename the shared chests how you want and yes the naming will follow in the other supported houses https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57335/

Is there any future for this mod in Special Edition?

Thanks for the answer.
