    I have no idea why so many people said this mod doesnt work for their Legend Edition and SSE. FOr my perspective, this little mod works just fine.

    But there are several points need to be noticed:

    1 The NPC's skill cap is actually 255, but this mod set it to 1000. So if the NPC's lvl is too high, the skill will start over again---from 254 to 255 to 0 to 1 .....
    SO you need to use the TESVEdit or CK to change the gamesetting parameter - iAVDAutoCalcSkillMax to 255 from 1000, which is only thing this mod changed.

    2 This is a game setting tweaking mod. Once you intalled this mod, it will not work at once. I guess thats why many person said it doesnt work for them.
    SO you need to let the NPCs 'refresh' themselves. Such as, you level up first. (or setlevel 100 and check your follower's skill)

    3 This mod DOES work for the SSE. Because I tested all above in my SSE. And I also tested NPC's damage(physical), the 255 skill NPC did more damage to my charactor than that of 100 skill, apparently.

    This doesn't seem to work as expected, as some skill levels drop rather than increase.
    For example, on my level 138 Falx Carius dead thrall, before install he was level 100 in Onehanded, Twohanded, Block, Marksman, and HeavyArmour. After I level up with this mod, he becomes 120 OneHanded, 60 TwoHanded, 216 Marksman, 221 Block, and 65 HeavyArmour.
    With my level 115 Thorek thrall, before install he was level 100 in Sneak, Alteration and Conjuration, and 79 in Restoration and Destruction. After level up with this mod, he becomes 99 Sneak, 182 Conjuration and Alteration, and only 10 in Restoration and Destruction.
    Based on last update timestamp it looks like this mod is long dead - is anyone else seeing similar issues to this? Has someone created a similar mod which resolves the above?

    macadamstreet: Just skills mate, level was not requested plus i figure Uncapper does that. I think lol Isrophel: Hope it does it for you.


    ok so is the uncapper applied automatically or is it manuel and if it is manuel what is the activation key set  and fyi this is my first time using mods

      If you just install Uncapper it will let you level any abilities up to 199 and level up infinitly. You can change a lot of other stuff like perk points, health, magicka, and so on manually but in my case i use Uncapper as it is and make any other changes using Skytweak.

    ok so is the uncapper autoset to work or do you have to manuelly activate it in game and if it is a manuel activation what is the key set to activate it and this is my first time modding any game

    Your skill level reset makes Dwemertech and Spectraverse NPCs not use spells anymore because their skill levels are dropped through the floor.

    I have a question about this mod.  I'm interested because I want to use elys uncapper so I can keep leveling my warrior to have above skill 100 two-handed (he uses no magic except for restoration), but I'm worried the NPCs will be too weak.  I have some mods installed such as high level enemies, immersive patrols and asis.  Supposedly they should add higher level NPCs towards end game as well as ones that scale to your level.  So if I install this mod, will they also have higher skill levels that go above 100 to compete with my character?

      Probably too late to reply, but when using the elys uncapper you can set the skill caps high so you can keep leveling, but can cap the point at which a skill has an effect. i.e. you can set the limit for your 2h to 999 and level almost indefinitely, but stop it improving your damage at 100 like in vanilla. This will solve the problem of being OP
