Will wait and see if anyone is still having issues or if other bugs can be found before declaring this the full and hopefully final release.

(If you hide an iron helmet on the player character, it will only be hidden for the player and no other characters wearing the same helmet, unless they have also been set to hidden.) - Can individually toggle up to 5 different helmets equipped on a single character using the Head, Hair, Long hair, ear or Circlet slots or a combination of slots.
Bugs/Issues: Mods such as Dual Sheath Redux or any other mods that trigger a NiNodeUpdate can cause helmets to re-appear. While wearing a hidden helmet, if a helmet with the same slots is equipped, the hidden helmet will not display as being unequipped in the inventory screen unless it is refreshed.
Please make a clean save before upgrading to 3.0
Mod contains no updating scripts. Any possible issues with helmet being stuck as hidden can be fixed by saving, quitting the game and reloading.
For some reason, after playing for a couple of hours, my helmet turned into a non-headgear piece, with an icon that looks like a shield. I don't understand what exactly triggered this, because initially everything worked fine. Can't find a way to fix this, I just had to uninstall the mod, and luckily that worked. I installed and uninstalled this mod three times, but this bug presented itself every time. This problem prevents perks that need a full heavy or light armor to activate. The mod is unusable in this state.
Turned all my iron helmets into non-headgear (icon looked like a shield) and refused to change them back or to show them being worn. No MCM reset function, just stuck this way now.
2/10 wasted two days of game play thinking this simple feature with all the endorsements would be safe but I suspect it was also screwing with animations of other mods so its for the best.
Unfortunately this doesnt work for me, I play the legendary edition with SKSE and I tried several things but sheaving doesnt change if my helmet is equipped or not. Sad, since I like the idea and there is no other mod for that
Unfortunately, after more testing, it does not work. 1. You can't use this mod with perks that give you more armor bonus when wearing all armor. It doesn't recognize the helmet and give you the bonus. 2. Unhiding it doesn't work. It's still invisible.

So i use player.forceav damageresist xx to fix the armor
