    G'day all,

Just letting you know that I am working on updating this mod for the Skyrim Special Edition that was released today. Alas I will be unable to look into this until Monday next week.

I have tested the mod as-is with Skyrim SE and it mostly works fine, apart from a few new UI strings whch now have a $ in front of them. Subtitles and so on all seem to work fine. I'll post the update as an optional file here and also on the new Nexus Skyrim SE mod area. But yes, you should be able to simply extract/copy the mod straight over to the new "Skyrim Special Edition\ Data" directory where all Steam game files are kept.

    Edit:

I've decided to remove the optional file for Skyrim SE from here and have added a link to English Strings for Skyrim SE on the main tab instead. Having it in two places isn't the best way to do things, especially if updates to the mod are required. Makes more sense to keep it all in one place to avoid confusion.

Best mod on this site. All the chaos has been returned to order. And the scope is appreciably encompassing, catching callipers and arse in there.

I really like the look of this mod but I don't like all the the unnecessary changes
For example I would love to have everything named dwemer but I have mods that add other dwemer items ie: immersive weapons and It would make half the items called dwemer and the other half dwarven.
Another example would be messing with tiny things like the wizards guards and other names.
The pronunciation of ass/arse is based on accent and not all british people pronounce it as arse as the accents vary on different regions and the people of tamriel do not have that accent

It would be great to have a second file that contained only the translations of words with no extras.
The mod looks so good and I want to try it but these changes ruin it for me.
anyway I have no idea if you're still active but if you are that second file would be great or if anyone else knows how to make mods they could possibly help, not that anyone has to but it would be nice.

It was always arse regardless; there's no etymology for ass meaning buttocks in English history. Shakespeare varied the pronunciation, even if for poetic effect, on the real word for buttocks.

Helped me so much, lots of mods causes skyrim to display many entries in english instead of my native language which not confuses but annoys, so I used this mod to make game english but keep russian voiceover. If you're looking to do the same just rename all files from xxx_ENGLISH.yyy to xxx_YOURLANGUAGE.yyy and replace original.
