Not sure if this ever got posted by anyone else. But I found that the shield was invisible on my vampire character, its a quick fix in the editor to resolve. Just letting people know how to fix it is just load up creation kit, set it as active file, then go pull up the sheild and make the edits to add vampire races to the shield in order to make it appear.
attached a picture of how to do it (I can upload a corrected esp... but not sure the site rules around do that?)

Since my toon became a vampire the shield is invisible, which appears to be a general bug with the game (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/21755). There is a fix for vanilla shields, and I suspect the unofficial patches also fix them, however for this awesome mod it still seems to be an issue. Just wondering if there is anyway to fix it as with the vanilla shields?
having this same issue. I really love this armor set, but I need to be able to see my shield. so my vampires are stuck with standard ebony shields. *sigh*
---edit btw, I'm using the latest standalone version, if that's any help.
