I use Dawn of Skyrim and added this and it fits perfect together, I posted some shots, did no find one over lap and even with Noble Skyrim added in the mix I did not notice much change in my performance maybe 1 or 2 fps . Stunning addition to game, thank you so much !!

Edit: Sadly however, this caused an incredible amount of lag for me (1vram).

''Exterior'' should rename the mod m8.

Guess not, it is "in" whiterun city and not outside tundra or something.

This mod deserves more endorsements, in my opinion.

Two [Edit: now three] reasons to use this Whiterun flora enhancement over others (such as Beautiful Whiterun or Perfect Whiterun)
    1. This one feels the most authentic. I've been to Patagonia, a region that Whiterun hold closely resembles in terms of flora and geography. When I saw this mod, it immediately felt "right". The other mods, while subjectively more beautiful, make Whiterun feel like it belongs in some other climate.
    2. This mod has fewer conflicts with the JK's and Dawn of overhauls. The only problem area I saw in half an hour of running around was on the left side (northwest?) of Dragon's Reach, where a garden path and bench were covered with shrubbery.
    3. If you have SFO 2+, this mod uses better pine trees. The other mods use the tall pines, which SFO 2 changes significantly and don't look so good in the city.

    Cons of this mod:
    1. Less of an idyllic fantasy feel (only a con if that's your thing). This is more rugged and real compared to BW and PW.
    2. Higher performance hit compared to PW. I didn't test performance with BW.

I'm going with this mod. Heartily endorsed, sir!

thx a lot for your nice comment. i wanted to create a more realistic look of whiterun. so in my opinion it feels just right. i currently work on a mod, which modifies the surroundings of whiterun. it looks fantastic, but still not finished. just imagine small groups of pine trees, different in size, the riverbanks covered with rock formations, shrubs, tundra flowers. it shows much more details. have fun, traveler of skyrim!!

I like the version without trees better because I gain 10-15 fps boost over the version with trees. Using the Tree Version when standing at the top of the stairs at Dragonsreach, looking down towards the city I get 15 fps (even with 670 SLI). Without trees I get about 25 fps, 40 avg everywhere else... much more playable than 15-25 with trees. This is probably the nicest Whiterun overhaul that doesn't insanely kill my fps. I love the way you placed the grasses around the city, looks so nice! Endorsed.

Tes5edit finds 29 ITMs & 1 UDR references to clean. Otherwise great mod and endorsed.

@thebusstop; thank you for reply; i must confirm your statement, it takes its cpu cycles... has to do with some added light sources, and of course hundreds of new objects; to be honest, i think this is just too much for the bethesda skyrim engine; no wonder, the developers were only designing the towns and cities almost emtpy by default. sorry, to hear that, maybe, give a try the version without trees. i just wanted to create a whiterun which looks and feels close to its best. have fun!!

I absolutely love this mod, but there is a huge performance hit for me. were I mostly have between 50 and 60 frames per second, this mod takes it down till around 25 and sometimes even 15 fps in whiterun. which is odd because I have a rather powerful machine with a HD 7850 and an i7 3750. I do have a lot of (graphical improving) mods installed like Skyrim Flora Overhaul, Climates of Tamriel, RCRN, Imersive saturation boost, Realistic lighting overhaul etc.
