I can not seem to get it working properly, yes it seems to load and yes I find the skill in the magic list. However after enabling the skill, nothing.
I tried re-installing the mod, I tried taking other mods down, but the race menu as shown in one of the pictures is not popping up and even with the showracemenu command I get the original one only.

Are there known conflicts with other mods perhaps? Or am I missing something? I would love to have some help to get this working. If anyone is willing and able, could you please help me out?

Thank you, this mod is perfect. Definitely in my "mandatory mods" list. I don't use it to change my race though, since that would be immersion breaking. I only use it to change my character's hairstyle/beard/warpaint whenever I want. It always annoyed me that in several open world games such as GTA you could change your character's hairstyle and things like that, but in 99,9% of the rpgs you could not. Btw, I still don't know which are the 0,1% rpgs that let you do that.

As several users have already pointed out, there is an issue (which appears to be only Skyrim's fault and without a way to fix) where you are changed back to your normal race when going to the character creation menu while you are a vampire, but you still keep your vampire abilities. The game understands vampires as completely new creatures, and it makes sense since vampires are technically in the undead category, so your race is changed when you become a vampire. Unfortunately, the only way to fix this issue is to use the console command player.setrace Xracevampire, where X is the name of your race. Although immersion breaking, it is harmless and will not break your game.

The user Pronema made a very detailed explanation about this issue and the solution, so I would recommend everyone to scroll down a little bit and read his comment if you're still in doubt regarding this issue with vampires.

this mod is really cool but it cause a really annoying bug: it remove the vampire statut but keep all power of the vampire and also the body of vampire, but when you try to feed nthing happen, you don't have the option "feed", i know the command setrace nordrace but it is not permanent if i turn on vampire i have to do it again, every time i turn back to human

Hello. Nice looking mod. Is there any way to fix the missing PC thing? I can see the "stage" and the sliders and all, but the PC is missing.

BTW, everything works as it should in the normal "showracemenu" interface, except somehow my camera keys got switched to something silly and I can't figure out how to reset them to default. I tried this mod hoping to solve that problem and ran into another one.

    Thanks

Hello to the mod author or anyone else that would like to help me.
My question: Is there a way to open up the race menu for NPC's, the reason is I would like to change their shape to my licking, if not then is there a plan to make a mod to do that?
    Please let me know.
    Best regards,
    GM207

I have a question before I. More of just making sure this wont ruin anything mostly. I was a khajiit vampire, then i wanted to just change my face because i got a few mods and the proportions got all messed up. I fixed it but then all my stats were messed up so i spent a good long while resetting my level and individual skill levels with the console comman. After getting myself all fixed I went to do a Dawnguard quest and they were telling me that I wasnt a vampire (even though the sun would still hurt me and i was still weak to fire and all). So i went to the guy that says he can revert you back, but he doesnt recognize me as a vampire. My guess is that before everything started my race was "VampireKhajiit" then using the "showracemenu" i was set to just "Khajiit" so the game still gives me the vampire powers because i haven't gone through the curing process, but has me labeled as not a vampire. What i want to know is if this will completely cure me of being a vampire, so i can go to serena and become one again, and if changing back to human form from vampire lord will set me as what i looked like before, or as what i picked in this racemenu

      Hi to both of you.

one solution that I know of. is to use the Mod: Levelers Tower v35a by WillieSea:
      http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/14152/?

Down in the basement of the Tower, behind a secret cupboard door, you get to it from the living quarters. is 2 cages. 1 to change you into a vampire, or change you back.
and 1 to make you a Wirewolf or change you back.

This may help, but I'm not saying that it will help you. but I've used it for the fun of it. and when I changed back. everything was OK.

@mrnigel117 im not sure what dlc shes from but from either dawnguard or dragonborn theres a face sculpter in the ratway in riften so if youve got a save from before you used the showracemenu then load that one and head to the face sculpter you just need 1000 gold

Just some background on your question and advice for skills. First, if you are a vampire lord from Dawnguard they do have a separate race, if you changed your race mid game while a vampire you need to use the setrace command to change yourself back to the appropriate vampire race because the vampire races don't show up in the racemenu. Without doing that you are sort of stuck somewhere between a vanilla Skyrim/ before Dawngaurd vampire and a vampire lord from dawngaurd. In some ways, the game will see you as a Dawngaurd vampire, in others it will see you as a regular race or pre-dawnguard vampire, the fastest way to fix this is to use the command below.

      E.g.
I was playing an imperial vampire lord and when I switched my race to Argonian through showracemenu or a mod such as this I needed to type:

      player.setrace argonianracevampire

This makes your character change from a regular Argonian to a vampire lord argonian, a lot of people still don't realize that the vampire lords from dawngaurd are coded as a separate race, like you suspected, from their non-vampire or vanilla Skyrim vampire counterparts. This makes Dawngaurd quests act funny if the player changes their race midgame until the setrace command is used and the game recognizes the player as a vampire lord again.

The name for each race's vampire is set up the same way. If I changed my character to a nord the command would be:

      player.setrace nordracevampire

Or if I changed to a Khajiit the command would be:

      player.setrace khajiitracevampire

Also, try using Skill Config to easily fix your skill levels when changing a race if you still encounter that bug.
