This mod decreases the damage of all arrows and bows in the game to the point where they're not super overpowered.
Being level 81, arrows kill me in almost a hit. A guard does around 800 damage to me with his bow, compared to somewhere around 50 damage with his sword. NPCs shouldn't be doing 16x more damage with their bows.
I've added an optional file that decreases arrow damage to half instead of changing arrow and bow damage to 1. You will still be able to use vanilla arrows and bows with this version, although NPC archers still may be too overpowered.
Installation:
Chose only one of the main files. Place the .esp file in your Skyrim/data folder and make sure that it's ticked in Data Files.
Note: This mod also changes the damage of your arrows and bows. It's not recommended to use this mod if you use the vanilla arrows or bows. If you use modded or DLC arrows and bows you should be perfectly fine.
