    Sorry it's so late but to anyone still having the problem: open the console (~key) and type in: ClearInvalidRegistrations 1
    Press enter and it should be fixed

    AHHHH. I am getting this loop as well.

    - I used the Fallrim tools, so all my saves are clean as can be.
    - I uninstalled the mods and reinstalled the mods. Even tried CBBE skin too. All end the same.
    - Tried it on a NEW GAME, and it works kind of. I played for an hour and I still got it "configuring" and "Finished" 2 times. Roughly every 20 minutes.
    - Clearinvalidregistrations 1 does not work, anyway I type it in the console.

    I read that this is a known bug and almost impossible to fix on saved games. I looked at the FAQ and it said I had a corrupt save. I do not. Between a validator and fallrim, my saves are clean as a whistle.

    I am at a loss here, hoping I can figure something out. My friend who has been playing modded Skyrim for years, says he updated his mods 6 months back and he is now getting this same error / loop. He just stopped playing all together, couldn't figure it out.

    Any help is appreciated!

      Reply to my own post, LOL.

      So I went into SKSE folder and created a SKSE.ini. I then pasted

      ClearInvalidRegistrations=1

      Into it.

      Now I get no loop or error or finished. It also said it is an issue with teh mod conflicting with other mods. So of course, i had to pick the mod load order to create this.

      What I mean is, more than likely YOU DO NOT HAVE A CORRUPT FILE. You have a mod load order / conflict that is causing this.

      Ok, thanks!

    It didn't work for me at first, either, but I tried a lowercase "c" instead of uppercase, and then it did work.

    I'm having the same problem... I did what the FAQ said i should do (several times) and it didn't work, I had to uninstall everything and re-install it all, and I had to load my back-up save from before i started modding. It fixed the problem, but now all of a sudden I'm getting this problem again... Any ideas?
