    Getting Ready to Publish the QUEST version of DovKroniid Redoubt and Skyrim Border Fortifications mod.

    Voice acted and sprinkled with goodies!

    I have beta tested the h@il out of this, gang; and, my beta testers have not uncovered any show stoppers.

    One tester comment – “ I am loving playing Skyrim again, and I cannot tell where Vanilla Skyrim begins, and where your mod begins”.
    Another: “The boss fights are Epic!” (OK, That one is from me. But I did test it.)
    Sniff.
    I think we are nearing the date for this to go live : )

  • Fix to minor issue with 0.3.1 that probably ony I care about, lol!

    I am going to push a fix to the jerky / jittery keep barracks in a couple hours. Please report any difficulties. I am going to use a new version .esp with the previous .bsa. There should be no problems, since they are versioned the same, but I don't know the deeper machinations of the Bethesda game engine, so if it uses date / time groups there could be issues. It is working fine on my machine, so there shouldn't be any issues.

    If this is successful, in @ 24 hours I will pull the older 0.3.1 version....

    Version 0.3.1 has been uploaded.

    This version adds a functioning:
    Conjuration trainer and spell vendor,
    Hostler who sells a brown horse.
    Blacksmith that sells blacksmith related materials.
    Fletcher who sells archery related materials in basement
    Armorer who sells arms and blacksmith material in basement.
    The fletcher is an archery trainer, and the armorer is a smithing trainer.
    Cook and server (server is potential follower) sell food items.
    House guards who patrol the Manor house.

    This is in addition to the general merchant and food vendors in the Inn / merchant house.

    Also adds:
    The Prison and Barracks.

    Climates of Tamriel / Lanterns of Skyrim compatible.

  • Trainer options for DovKroniid Redoubt - Your input!

    OK, with 0.3.1 I have functioning:
    Conjuration trainer and spell vendor,
    Hostler who sells a brown horse.
    Blacksmith that sells blacksmith related materials.
    Fletcher who sells archery related materials in basement
    Armorer who sells arms and blacksmith material in basement.
    Cook and server (server is potential follower) sell food items.

    This is in addition to the general merchant and food vendors in the Inn / merchant house.

    I am thinking of making the fletcher an archery trainer, and the armorer maybe a smithing trainer.

    Too much? OK? Anyone have any desires before I publish this probably this weekend? (oh, and the HouseCarl will be a Destruction Trainer in the Quest version)....

  • DovKroniid Redoubt version 0.2.1 (Manor, Merchant and Inn) is up!

    I have not started the quest version of DovKroniid Redoubt, but am very far along with the non- quest version. With this, the 0.2.1 version, both the Player Home (Manor House) and Inn (Dragon’s Breath Inn) are complete. The Manor house has enchanter and alchemy table, arms racks, bookcases, secret passages and rooms, and a treasure room to stash your loot. There are plenty of other surprises also.
    The Inn has a functioning merchant, store mannequins that you can buy outfits from (script by Amethyst Deceiver) and an Innkeper that you can rent a room from. In addition there is a recruit-able / marriageable bard and the innkeeper and merchant have a son and two daughters that can be recruited for your adventures.
