Why is that when viewing this mod with TES5Edit all the records come up blank and errored?
I downloaded it twice and have tried viewing it a few times but still its messed up. I just need to view it so I can merge with my other mods. Anyone else having this issue?
Even though I have no fear of messing with files and modding stuff...it might be a bit too much work for me to do. UFO changes a LOT of things. I wouldn't even want to try to replicate all that.
Again...your work is great, but I think I may have to live without your mod for now.
@slashimus - Thanks, always happy to hear that people are enjoying it.
As for the compatibility with UFO, this is happening because Skyrim stores much of an NPCs information in a bundled package. My mod edits this package to change facial shapes and colors, and his/hers uses them to change things like dialog options, combat actions, etc. Unfortunately I don't know of any way to crack open NPC packages and merge their contents.
The best solution I can think of is to load his mod first (for the non-NPC-specific changes), then mine after (for the appearance changes) and then using console commands ingame to try to replicate his changes, or tweak them to your own taste. The specifics are a bit more than I can get into in a comment thread for my mod, but the forums on this site have had multiple topics on using the console for things like making NPCs marriageable, changing their aggression etc. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the reply linec. I also would like to know if there is a way to make this mod work with the Ultimate Follower Overhaul mod. It seems like I can only use one or the other, even when I switch up the load order.
I do have to say that I think this mod does wonders for the female NPCs.
@slashimus - Yes, it shouldn't cause any conflicts with these or any other DLC. However it doesn't currently affect NPCs introduced by the DLCs, if that's what you were referring to.
The reason I haven't updated to include them is that Skyrim NPC Editor, the tool used to make this mod, has not been updated to support the DLCs. The creation kit by comparison is a very inefficient way to change large amounts of NPCs, and the preview window for editing NPCs is fisheye-lensed making it hard to gauge what the edits will look like in-game. Basically what would be an easy afternoon of work using NPC Editor would a week-long affair with worse results using the CK.
If we ever see an update to Skyrim NPC Editor or the release of another similar tool I will make an update to include them.
just wanted to say this so far is my favorite all encompassing make the women look better mod, endorsed! Been using it for a while a just wanted to say thanks!
