Hey, I know you think this is superior, but it really breaks my heart you didn't release an independent "True Yield" mod for SSE. I don't want all these changes. 20% on allure seems overpowered to me, for instance.
Sounds like a good mod except that it has an effect on non humanoids with the "Honeyed Words" perk and it don't say if it works if you have followers, if it just worked on humanoids and with followers then i would use this mod in a blink of an eye but now i have to reject it.
using this for years and love it. thanks! i'm wondering how this handles the respawn of actors that have surrendered. i used another yield mod before and if an actor yielded, then subsequent respawns of that actor (which could be completely different sex race ect) would also respawn as non aggressive actors. so upon going into a cave where a bandit had surrendered months before, the respawn of that bandit would also be non aggressive. i read later that that was bad. save bloat or aliases or the like. i think this mod may do the same.
does this mod do that? i know that ones who yield or surrender due to low health are perma non hostile, even their respawns. does that cause bloat or other issues? thanks
...Okay, this mod's concept is exactly what I was looking for, and despite being an avid Ordinator user, it's actually convinced me to ditch Ordinator for this. Maybe I'll find other perk overhauls to fix the other perk trees alongside this.
But I've literally ALWAYS wanted an immersive way to do a pacifist playthrough. Like, use combat for the undead, etc, but kill no other sapient creature. And things like Frenzy, and even just using that fear spell to make them run away wasn't exactly what I had in mind for my character's personality.
This mod worked before I installed Ordinator. I uninstalled this before trying Ordinator so they've never been installed at the same time. I've now removed Ordinator and reinstalled this mod.. but it doesn't work. The speech tree is unchanged and looks like vanilla. Do i need to unlock shouts (kill dragon outside whiterun following the main quest) to unlock the shout branches of this mod? I'm still very early game in a new playthrough..
hi, dont know if you're still about but would you mind if i edit this to make the allure perk gay? for personal use, unless you'd like to add it as an alternative file anyways, thanks so much for the mod! its a huge improvement.
This mod works perfectly, but there are few potential conflicts that make functionality of accepting yield from enemy impossible - one such thing is "Defeat" mod. If both are used at the same time, accepting yield will result in option from Defeat popping up instead and cause the enemy to become pacified, but immortal.
Everything else (cooldown, power, etc,...) work as advertised. Good job!
Yeah, the Treebalance series won't play nicely with Ordinator or other perk overhauls. I personally use my own Treebalance series and Better Magic for my perk rebalances on the SE (and now a hacked Nintendo Switch), but I understand not everyone wants to do that.
I like this mod but I am split on if it works properly... Sometimes I got the message that yield is accepted for x gold, but now most NPC's just get the mass calm buff and stop fighting at the start only to attack me again when I turn my back on them
That's... odd. I can't imagine what mod conflict you might have that could cause this. It's certainly not behavior I've ever seen from this. What else are you using?
It seems like the SE edition was updated with some new changes, any possibility to implement it here too? rn I'm using Ordinator, but I find your style a lot more suitable on my gameplay.
