Are you going to port this to the Skyrim Special Edition ?
I'm guessing no, but one can always hope.
This by far the best lighting/weather mod and I will really miss it when I do my next replay on SSE.

      Couldn't agree more

I really hope it does get ported over to SSE.

Agreed. I've used almost every weather mod ever made, and none of them come close to having that special feel RCRN has. It really does have Realistic Colors! I'd LOVE to see a Skyrim SE edition!

Why not just stick with the superior Legendary Edition?

Why move to newrim? First thing most want to do is find some weather/lighting mod to replace newrim's vaunted remastered lighting. Does any mod work better on newrim? Does any mod even work as well as it did on firstrim?

I used to like this mod quite a lot, but....I found out it's not compatible with Real Shelter, which is an essential mod for me, so....I guess I'll have to stop using this

The latest ENB binary has "rain occlusion", which creates the Real Shelter effect dynamically. If you have the rig for it, it's AMAZING!!! Still get rain under the Solitude arch, but porches and even small rock overhangs keep the rain off now! It only works with ENB [Rain] activated, but that rain also looks AMAZING!!!

Been having a problem with the mod, or rather several files it installs. It seems the injFX_Shaders folder and the injFX_Settings that RCRN's installer adds now cause Skyrim to instantly CTD when I try to start it if injFX_Settings or several (not all) the .h files in the injFX_Shaders folder are deleted. I've disabled all other mods and proceeded to delete the injFX files thinking said mods may be somehow reliant on the aforementioned files. The CTD still occurs no matter what I do. I've even tried disabling Avast while installing and uninstalling RCRN. I've tried validating my files, deleting my Skyrim.ini and Preferences files all to no success.

I guess my question is: Are there any other files RCRN modifies or adds entries to that I am unaware of? That seems to be the case here since I'm not using anything ENB-related for other mods. The most I have is URWL and that is a self-contained mod as far as I know. I can run the game fine with the injFX_Shaders and injFX_Shaders folders/file, but I'd really prefer not to since there seems no reason to have them.

As the RCRN site no longer seems to be up, this seems like the only or best place to ask for help.

Does anyone know if this is compatible with Enderal? I've modded quite a lot in the past but I'm very new to total conversion mods (e.g. Enderal) and do not have a strong understanding of what might or might not be compatible yet.

BTW the support links in the sticky post do not work? Is that just me?

    Thanks in advance!

The app has a compatibility section, you can try that with all your mods installed and see if something is incompatible, if everything is OK you can try it safely

One day I hope this gets ported over to Special Edition... Also I hope that the dynamic interiors function is fixed or scrapped. I doubt that'll happen though, since aLaa's last post was almost two years ago.

Same here. I just installed SE for the first time, eager to try it out and RCRN was one of the first mods that came to mind. Too bad that it's not ported!

I have no uninstaller whatsoever, and I've looked in my programs; RCRN is not there. Is there any other way to uninstall it?

okay... jesus. i think, after hours of headaches and countless ctds, i managed to get it uninstalled
all i did was i just made a small, self-contained folder on my desktop and used the installer to install rcrn there. as such, i now had a list of all the files rcrn introduced to my skyrim folder. i then went through and deleted every file it made in my actual skyrim folder using the list made earlier as a reference. i also replaced the ones rcrn overwrote with the original files rcrn moved to its backup (in the rcrn folder in your skyrim directory). and now everything's backed to normal? i think?
