I really like the idea of the spell.. using the weaker power 'cause well... I think you've done a great job with scaling and what not. I am going to try to move the spell into alteration, because that seems a slight bit more appropriate and is generally how I play mages. I gave you an endorsement anyways. Thanks for the good work.
Edit: And I've changed my mind. I see this is a magic regen./healing buff. So it should stay in Restoration.
I updated the Removal instructions to say that you should let the spell expire before deactivating the mod. I had a weird thing happen last night where my Magicka Regen rate got stuck with a high value** and it looks like it was because I was wantonly switching back and forth between different ESP for testing purposes, without letting the spell expire in-between those changes.
So what happened to me probably wouldn't happen to others, but its an extra bit of safety.
** P.S.- console command for checking your magicka regen rate multiplier: "player.getavinfo magickaratemult" This spell alters the "Mod:Temp" value.
I added the "Elite" version (+175 regen/-75 spell max) before I read your comment, Geostar. I agree it can be OP if abused. But if you aren't using any/few enchanted items, it will be pretty balanced.
It will be easy to make other versions as well, but we'll see how these two versions work out for now.
As to Empowered Magic and Incremental Difficulty, you should be fine. My ID mod didn't change any mage perks. If you want, set EM after ID in the load order, so the changes from EM will take precedence over mine.
I personaly like it as it is -75% spell cost would be to much in my opinion maybe rais it to 50% because there are also enchantments in the game that add to it but so far i find it good as it is.
Also i have a question to one of your mods the Incremental Difficutly mod does it conflict with the empowered magic mod? Because it changes almost every mage perk.
I'm also considering adding a version which is stronger (e.g., at level 32+ it might be +175 regen and -75% to spell cost). So, if anyone has any particular thoughts on this, let me know.
>> However I gotta ask, since it's hard to keep track of its duration/effect, are the effects stackable if I keep spamming the spell ?
No, the spell does not stack, so you can always recast before waiting for the entire 10 minutes.
The Magicka Regen does show up in the Active Effects, so that is both a confirmation that its working and also how many minutes are left.
My biggest issue is when I forget to cast it before hopping on my horse, and then down the road I hop off my horse to get into a fight, and suddenly realize my magicka pool is regenerating slowly!
I like it ! Shame that it won't show up in the active effects bit, but that's just me. However I gotta ask, since it's hard to keep track of its duration/effect, are the effects stackable if I keep spamming the spell ? Probably a silly question but I'd rather ask than end up messing up my stats xD
