== Build Your Own Home ==

This mod allows you to build a home, using in game materials, and customize the home how you wish.

To begin construction, go to Lucky's Shack, which is right next to the Abandoned Prison, along the road from Whiterun to Riften/Windhelm

== Installation Instructions ==

Without NMM:
1. Dowload
2. Extract the contents of the BuildableHome.rar to any location
3. Move the Data folder you just extracted to your Skyrim Directoy
3a. Skyrim Directory should be Steam/Steamapps/Common/Skyrim folder
4. Say yes to Merge ALL Folders
5. Launch the game through the default launcher
6. Click the Data button
7. In the menu that appears, make sure there is a check box next to the BuildableHome.esp by double clicking it.
8. click OK
9. DONE

With NMM:
1. Download with manager
2. Activate the mod in NMM
3. NMM handles the rest

== Uninstallation Instructions ==

1. Go to the shed where it all began.
2. Find "Lucky's axe of Reversal" and choose "Okay"
3. Go far away from the shack and save a new save.
4. Quit game, uninstall mod via NMM of the data section of your game launcher.
5. Boot up game, save again. Die a little inside.

== Clean Save Instructions ==

This game has some issues with savegame management. When changes are made to mods, on occasions you will have to reinstall the mod. Most of the time you will not, but just in case you do have to, here are the procedures for a clean install of a mod (specifically, this one)

0.5. Remove ANYTHING YOU HAVE from the home, and go far away from it. Save game to a new save slot manually. Quit game.
1a (NMM). Unactivate the Buildable Home ESP in your load order
1b (Manual install). Disable the mod in the data section of your launcher (Step 6 in installation, do the opposite!)
2. Launch game
3. Load that earlier save
4. Wait a few (3) in game days
5. Make a NEW manual save
6. Quit game
7. Reinstall mod
8. Load the game and save again.
9. Enjoy

== Building Requirements ==

Here is a comprehensive list of construction materials for each home addition. Note you can also remove additions, and the requirements to remove them will be the opposite of that to build them (ex: can't remove smithy if Watch Tower is built)

== Known Issues ==

The hunter themes weapon racks might drop the weapons on the shield rack immideately after building. This is a one-time deal, it doesn't happen again.

The sleeping dude sometimes cannot be fed on, punch him. It fixes it. The game handles actors oddly when they are enabled/disabled, punching solves this. As it does many issues in life.

You MUST take all items OUT of the bookshelves and weapon racks before removing the furniture)
