Version 1.2 is here, and it's brought SkyRe compatibility with it! SkyRe users, can I hear three cheers for our man }{ellKnight, who's brought all these goodies to you? Hip hip HURRAH!

Changes in this version for those who don't like reading the front page:

You'll see the main file is now a BAIN-ready archive that contains all plugin and mesh options in a single download. You can choose that if you're using Wrye Bash (of course), Mod Organizer or manually installing the files.

NMM users-- I'm sorry but because I don't know how to make an NMM installer with all the pretty options, you'll have to download the files separately the old fashioned way rather than all at once in a single file. Make sure the meshes and ESPs are correctly installed to your \Data folder, as always.

Finally, a gentle reminder to all users: The SkyRe versions, if used in a game without the main SkyRe plugin installed and active, will cause your game to not load and crash at start because of a missing master (SkyRe_main.esp). Wrye Bash will indicate whether any plugin you're using has a missing master or some other issue, and BOSS will remind you of the SkyRe dependency in the future, since I'll be submitting the new SkyRe plugins to the masterlist, but until then you'll have to do your own policing.

ETA on load order for SkyRe compatible plugins: load the SkyRe versions after SkyRe_main.esp AND SkyRe_CraftingFixes.esp (if you have that particular ESP file, if not just put it after SkyRe_main.esp).

This is a great mod. After using it for only a moment though, I noticed a few things. One, I'd LOVE a version that keeps the hood and uses the variant 1 mask, and two... when you examine the mask closely, on the inside, there is no texture. could you fix that in general? I know that doesn't affect gameplay, but for someone as OCD as me... it's hard to swallow lol. thank you for doing all that you have already though. IDK what people like me would do without modders

if you think that's bad, just wait until you see the insides of the normal armour in-game *it doesn't exist*

you may try adding skyrimagua's retexture pack to the masks, it works great and fixes this issues entirely with cool results :-) this mod is great!

One thing I noticed with this version while using MO. If you want to use one of the ESPs that change the armor types of the masks, you'll need to install the meshes first, then do a reinstall and merge the armor ESP. If you try to do it all at once, the armor ESP gets overwritten by an ESP packed in with the meshes. (At least, that's what happened when I installed the no armor ESP and the variant mask meshes.)

Hello to my fellow ODPM users. I'm Luinithil and I'll be handling the current slew of uploads and updates to ODPM at the moment while Calyps is occupied elsewhere, with his kind permission.

For those who didn't read the description, version 1.1 is an ESP update and mostly a bug-stomping exercise. All plugins have been updated in the latest CK. Those of you who like to look in TES5Edit will notice that ODPM's plugins now have the proper new BOD2 records that supersede the old BODT records. Fixes to vanilla bugs made by the USKP have been ported over, so those fixes will no longer be reverted by this mod. Non-USKP users can relax, the USKP isn't required to run this at all.

I made the Khajiit versions of the three original optional plugins (Clothing, Light Armor and Heavy Armor only). I've tested them all in game and they work so far. If anyone does encounter an issue using them, let me know.

SkyRe users: Have patience, compatibility patches are coming up soon. Remember to thank }{ellKnight when they go up.

ETA: I made a mistake with the content of the archive for the Variant 1 Heavy Armor only plugin-- it has the wrong (older) version of the file. The proper file has now been uploaded as 1.1HAFix, again in optional files. I apologise for the mistake to anyone affected. I understand that the mismatch in versioning may be more than merely irritating to some, but I would ask you to wait a little, since I'll bump the version number to 1.2 across the board once SkyRe patches are upped.

Great update and awesome mod! A argonian version would be great (and a version for the Brutish Argonian Male mod)!
      Could you make this?

    On the invisible mask/head dilemma:
My masks are invisible, sometimes i got the error fixed, but after reloading/restarting it returned for no reason.
After some testing i found out, that
dropping and picking the mask up again will make it visible again till the next reload
spawning the item will make it visible again till the next reload
putting the item into a container and taking it back out will make it visible again till the next reload

Overall half of the comments are relsted to the invisibility bug, yet all the situations are situational and dont actually fix it. Also i there is a funny trend, where one person asks about the invisible mask, then someone else tells them its cuz of a specific mod they assume the OP uses, only for the OP to reply he does not have that mod...

UPDATE: Found the culprit in my case. "Warmonger Armory"`s belt fastened Dragon Priest masks.
Removing that part of the mod, hope it doesnt break, since i use an armor set from that mod.

EDIT: editing warmonger did NOT FAIL,
removing all mentions through TESVEDIT in the warmonger mod and creating a new save solved the invisible mask bug. VICTORY SCREECH!

Tried this mod out, and while I like the look of the masks now...it does something extremely weird that makes me not able to use the masks at all..when I wear a mask with this mod active, it immediately undresses me, leaving me with only gloves and boots on..Unfortunately, it might be because I use USLEEP, the better version of USKP(USLEEP even includes all of USKPs fixes). Until this is patched, I can't use this mod, but going by when this mod was last updated..it might not happen. >< A shame, this is the ONLY mod that made me look forward to even using the dragon priest masks....

Sounds like you have a conflict somewhere. And it isn't USLEEP.
Check things out in TES5Edit and/or the CK.

I did that a while ago, and I TES5Edit showed no conflicts with anything, and I have 200+ mods. It's gotta be something with this mod, or maybe something with the khajiit clothing version I used of this mod, because at the time I was trying to get that version to work.

So uh... no word on those DLC masks?
Was really looking forward to Miraak's. :T

Anyone know another mod that covers it?

I don't know how active this still is, but I'm just wondering if it is at all possible for me to be able to equip two masks, both to a Khajiit, and a human character. I'm playing as a khajiit and I have Serana as my follower, and I'd like for both of us to wear a dragon priest mask without the thing hovering inches off of Serana's face, or vice versa where the mask clips into my character's skull.

The masks SHOULD have the usual beast versions... but I always rebuild the mod myself, so wouldn't know...

The easiest way to do what you want though is to manually install the meshes for whichever mask(s) you want alts for.

A more thorough way would be to open this in the CK and add the alt versions as separate items that you can convert to at a forge (or just have dumped in a chest somewhere).

Just as a note for any modding/converting geniuses that might stumble upon this mod...calyps has changed his profile in his 'Real name' section to state: "Don't ask for permission. Just credit me." So if you happen to have that kind of modding magic and you wish this mod made it to SE like I do, please, put this on your to-convert list. I'll be first in line to endorse you.

Out of pure curiosity I loaded this mod directly into NMM for SE and everything works fine EXCEPT the mask on the person is invisible. It shows up just fine in the inventory, just not on the person. Currently looking to see if I can find a solution to this, but as I am barely even a novice at modifying mods, I can make no promises. Annotating my progress in edits in the case I give up and somebody else wants to take over with these notes handy.

Update - missing file SkyRe_Main.esp not sure how to fix this as I don't think there is a SkyrimRedone for SE so I tried making a SkyRe_Main.esp empty dummy file. Didn't work.

Another thing I just tried was adding the meshes for this to another mod. The meshes work correctly in the inventory, dropped on the ground, etc... but once again, invisible on the person. I tried removing all other equipment in case of a slot visual override, but still nothing.

I got it working, but I'm not entirely sure how, lol. I'll see if I can figure out how to build a mod on the Skyrim SE page. Anyways, here's what I did (super easy) Download using the manual download option. Extract. Rightclick the folder "00 Open Dragon Priest Masks - Male and Female" (or the variant if you prefer) and then select "Add to archive..." (you WILL need WinRAR for this, otherwise a zip file should work I think? 7zip might work as well, I have only used WinRAR really so it's all I know). Then select the green + in NMM and select the archive you just created.

It didn't start working immediately for some reason, but kicked in after about a minute. Note, conflicts with SoS, which was the cause of the invisibility bug. I don't know how to fix this other than switching the armor to "revealing" in the SoS MCM. If you don't have SoS, there should be no issues.

    Hi all,

First, thank you for this awesome mod, love the style and the possibilities.

Second, for all of you who want this mod on SE, you first need to download the first file "Open Dragon Priest Masks - All Options- BAIN ready".
Then, choose the esp file you want and copy it to the Data folder of your main skyrim folder.
Next, choose the variant you want and copy its meshes into the meshe>armor folder inside the Data folder.
To finish, LOOT, then loaunch the game, go to the mods menu, press "T" for load order, browse till you find the mod, activate it, and leave.

Work perfectly ond my 100+ mods game for the moment =)
Thanks to Kenrox (SSE modder) and FuzzyFoxe (user in page 2 of the posts) for the hints !

I hope you guys see this !
Thanks again for the mod !

Hey, would you be willing to grant somebody permission to work on porting this to Special Edition? Your work is wonderful and I'd love to have it over on SE.
Regardless of your response, thank you for the work you put in to making this game even better for everyone, it's people like you who've helped make skyrim's legacy what it is.
