This is included in SkyBirds / Birds of Skyrim. So this mod is no longer needed and from what i'm reading, it presumably causes errors with the scripting engine.
I can confirm the Papyrus errors it was something like 3pm ingame and I was inside and got these kind of errors from this mod. "Error: Object reference has no 3D stack:" I wouldn't be so sure if this is causing CTD's but I'm uninstalling for now. A shame I really loved hearing the roosters in the morning.
Looks like the mod has quite a few issues with it, which is a shame because this would add a nice level of immersion. I'll bookmark and follow and see if it gets fixed sometime.
I like these mods that add a little bit of extra ambiance. However, when I loaded this one, my loading screen stuck. I may try it again another time, but for now I will do without it.
Yeah... I unistalled this due to pages of rooster lines in my papyrus log after CTDs. It looks like it was happening when I was inside and it was time for one of them to trigger.
I'm not sure why the S.T.E.P. moderators still recommend this mod.
KAYLAFOX is right- most roosters don't just crow at dawn.
I'd like to see you add a time in the late evening where they may crow again, and I'd really enjoy if they crowed more than once between 5:45 and 6:45 and maybe expand that time to about 8:45.
By all means, I'm just glad someone made this mod! So keep in mind that I'm not at all complaining. This was just what I needed to complement the Birds of Skyrim mod!
My mother owns roosters, and I have to say that roosters do not crow just at dawn. They crow from 4AM to the time they go to sleep at 11PM. And they attack people. A lot. xD
