Works great for me so far in a heavily modded Skyrim Special Edition (I extracted the BSA and resaved it in Creation Kit using MO2).
Actually, it's the first time I use such a mod and it is so much better when playing on a high difficulty.
It solves the problem of frequently loosing progress due to death (or the need of frequent saving, which u keep forgetting...), which is one of the really annoying things in Skyrim.
PS: I use the following settings: Ghost/Essential - Easy - 10 % Gold loss - No injuries - First person

Hi, although resaving in CC and extracting the BSA is really not a big deal (instructions can be easily found in various mod guides/tutorials), I uploaded the file I am using here:
This mod is great and the only one that works properly for the essential option. The issue I'm having is that even disabling the injuries I'm still receiving them after dying which is annoying, I already have mods that add injuries and with the ones in this mod is kinda of too much, anyone know how to stop it permanently?
Edit: deleting all references to injuries and negative effects in TES5Edit worked here if anyone else wanted to know
Excelent Mod! In fact, this is the ONLY mod setting player essential, that actually works without any issue. BUT, can I make the player ragdoll for, let's say, 5 seconds instead of kneel?
Hello... I tried to convert to SSE because I like this mod a lot, but I'm not good at it, the mod is loaded, but the script doesn't work properly, the game closes whenever my character dies and becomes a ghost, if anyone helps, I'll be very thankful.

ya dude i used this tutorial, but still ctd when i'm killed in all the options i put i think it's better that the author of this mod make a version for SSE instead of trying to make it work without his permission, i'm not a modder and I have no idea how to work with this I know the problem is related to the injury effects scripts but even if I disable the injury option the game closes so I feel that I better throw in the towel for this mod... I'm already tired of trying to use this mod on SSE without knowing how to fix it so i believe no ones know how to fix too.
I was having a weird issue in my ~300 mods save where all the "Loading" saves were tagged as corrupted once every 30mn or so, I would die and the game would not reload last game, stuck on death screen, no crash. Leaving the game and loading again would solve everything then boom, corrupted again.
This saved my game :D It's actually a lot funnier than the loading screen s#*!, makes me lose the crazy ammounts of money I own so I care about it again :D
any one know how to remove this mod?i can't die after uninstalling this i played along time with this mod and it is a nice mod, but i want my character to die again and i dont want to go back or start a new game,i cleaned my savegame from scripts but that didn't fixed it..im using this on special edition btw.
That's probably because your character is still set as essential. To undo that you simply open up the console and type in: setessential 00000007 0 That should fix it.
