@Psychyn, type the following to fix your stamina regen and stamina values.
player.getavinfo staminarate this will show your current "bugged" rate. It needs to be 5. To get to 5 just add or subtract to the number returned by the console command to get it to 5. To add or subtract use this command. player.modav staminarate +/- ## To fix your "bugged" stamina, go to your level up menu and look at how much stamina you have. Then subtract from that amount. Use this command player.modav stamina +/- ####
Examples: your stamina rate is -.04; use player.modav staminarate 4.06 Your stamina is 5350, use player.modav stamina -5000
As a side note, I've defaulted to using only console commands instead of a mod. I adjusted my stamina to 5000, and my regen rate to -.05 (while awake) this emulates Daggerfalls Uptime bar, where I can do a bunch of stuff but am constantly loosing stamina, to a point where I have to sleep to regen. When I sleep I use bat sleep, which put my regen to .03 which takes about 8 game hours to regen 5000 stamina. When I get up I type bat awake, which returns my regen to -.05. The only thing that sucks is I forget sometimes to type bat sleep and I wake up with no stamina gained. Jjiinx if you know how to make a script mod that would do this automatically that would be freaken sweet.
"Other" features of this mod include modifying your characters stamina regen rate at the character stats level, so when the mod is not compatible with your other mods and you un-install it, your stamina regen is still screwed over.
With such a large amount of stamina and low regen, vanilla stamina potions are rather worthless. Could you make an optional esp that increases the stamina recovered by potions proportionally?
I don't know if this has been asked but, is there a posibility that you can make the stamina to force the player to walk, or run slow (like tilting the stick of a console controler 50%) if the stamina is low?
When I'm fighting with sword/dagger in hand and run out of stamina (my mage is kinda weak in that sense) I don't like that I can easily start running away (not sprinting) while casting restoration spells :/
Agree. This is what i'm looking for. I'm playing as a full mage and mobs even if they are fast are too easy to kite no matter how many they are and i have multiple mode that is suppose to make the game a lot harder.
Another report of no stamina regenning. It was fine during a dungeon clear (great mod) but I exited and did stuff and suddenly noticed stamina wasn't regenning. The only fight I had was a skeever , but I didn't *see* any disease effect from its' one hit. I then chugged a cure disease, but saw no difference in the stamina regen.
I do have a crapton of mods, but only 1 thing that affects stamina, and it's a level-up thing- DFB's Carry Weight by Stamina mod. It's been in awhile and stamina regen has not had any problems, so I'm guessing the skeever attack might have bugged the mod.
I can run Papyrus logging and see what happens, any clues on what I might look for?
oh ok, I read the other commets, my player.getavinfo staminarate was -0.9 it seems that value must be positive so I increased it to be 0.4 (in my case player.modav staminarate +1.3) thx! btw, while I was doing it, 3 thugs show up saying going teach me a lessor or sumthin, 3s later I was taken down :O, back to console xD EDIT: a better absolute positive value seems to be 0.04 with stamina about 350
btw, the stamina is never going up, even after going sleep; I think some other mod is breaking yours? how can I check that? the refill is what? I was trying to look how it works to find the conflicting mod and modify it (because I probably want the other effects of the other mod least stamina) but creation kit is so messy, when you open a mod you get lost trying to find what stuff that mod changes .. and there is no SkyEdit (like FNVEdit) so I am lost (I will have to leave it disabled til I find the solution as I dont know how fast/slow I should up the stamina thru console commands (what is messy also btw). thx on any tips :>

Walking and running depletes stamina.
