  • Travellers of Skyrim – Version 1.42 & 1.12 CCOR Addons

The main file received a small update to the merchants’ inventories.
They now sell a smaller amount of clothes and also have a reduced chance to sell clothes in general, with different chances for unusual/rare clothes. The ‘Radiant Raiment Fine Clothes’ have completely been removed from sale.
Additionally reference errors in both the main file and the based CCOR addons have been solved.

A special thank you to Hegemott and panurgy for pointing these things out! :)

  • Travellers of Skyrim – Version 1.41 & Dragonborn Addon Version 1.11

A full release of Travellers of Skyrim version 1.41 is now available!
This new version includes a complete rework of the AI Packages and an introduction of proper schedules, adjusted to each traveller type. Meeting a giant hordes of travellers is now a thing of the past! These changes are also included in the new versions of the ‘Light Version’ and the standalone .esm file.
For those using the version 1.40 pre-release not much has changed, only a bit of additional cleaning-up. The ‘Custom Travellers’ patcher (1.11) released with the 1.40 re-release is still compatible with this new version.
Besides compatibility with version 1.41 of the main file the ‘Dragonborn Addon’ now also allows travellers to go to new locations on Solstheim. Those features are ...

  • Travellers of Skyrim – Skyrim Special Edition available now!

A little change of plans. ;)
Since Creaktion Kit for the Skyrim Special Edition was released earlier then I expected the main file and an updated 'Dragonborn Addon' are now available for the Skyrim Special Edition:
    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1973

The main file is version 1.41, this is pretty much the same as the pre-release 1.40. The only change made is a bit of cleaning up of old, unused files (if you are using the 1.40 pre-release you are not missing out on any relevant changes).
This version and the new version 1.10 of the 'Dragonborn Addon' will be uploaded to the 'normal' Skyrim page once I've completed the work on all the addons/optional files that are dependent on the 'Dragonborn Addon' (all t...

  • Travellers of Skyrim – Version 1.40 pre-release

    Travellers of Skyrim

With the Skyrim Special Edition release only a few hours away the time seems just right to finally release a new version of the main file.
So what is the pre-release in the title all about?
In the past I tried to ensure compatibility with all existing addons/optional files for ‘Travellers of Skyrim’ or release an updated version along side the main file. Due to a complete replacement of the AI Packages and introduction of a proper schedule all files using the ‘Dragonborn Addon’ are currently not compatible with version 1.40. The loose .esm file and the ‘Light Version’ also haven’t been updated yet.
The main file and the new patcher are feature complete. The pre-release part is only there to make people aware that their exis...

  • Travellers of Skyrim – Custom Travellers patcher 1.10, custom offsets & Chinese translation

A new version of the ‘Custom Travellers’ patcher is now available.
In case you found the travellers dying too fast or slaughtering multiple dragons on their own with your mod configuration you now have the option to set your own offsets for health, magicka and stamina (http://www.creationkit.com/Stats_Tab_-_NPC),
The patcher also comes with a few templates for the new offset function.

In other news superben134 was so nice to translate the main mod into Chinese!

  • Travellers of Skyrim – Version 1.35, Bags and Pouches Addon, Dragonborn Addon Update

The changes to the main file are primarily under the hood and won't effect gameplay. The only thing you will notice is that merchants now sell enchanted staves.
These changes were done to make my life easier while working on the vendors' stocks.
The new version of the 'Dragonborn Addon' was able to take advantage of this since it adds the new ingredients found on Solstheim to all the vendors and also the weapons, armours and ammo featured in the DLC to the merchants.
Besides selling them the vendors will also use these new weapons to fend off any enemies they encounter on their journeys.
The mercenaries will also use, depending on their type, the new weapons, armours and ammo.

Dragten was so nice allowing me to create a 'Bags and Pou...

  • Travellers of Skyrim – Custom Travellers patcher

In order to replace the optional files containing only specific travellers, which were absent since version 1.30, a SkyProc based patcher is now available to fill this role.
The 'Travellers of Skyrim – Custom Travellers' patcher will create a patch disabling the travelling of a chosen set of travellers.
Which traveller to remove is up to you, the patcher comes with plenty of templates to choose from or you can create a custom list.
Due to the nature of the patcher the NPCs aren't completely removed from the game, just the AIPackage, which is responsible for their travelling.
Thus they will still be in the game world inside of an isolated cell that can't be accessed by the player without console commands.
Another downside is that the patcher...

  • Travellers of Skyrim Version 1.34 - AI Packages fixed

    Another rather small update:
A few errors in the AI Packages were fixed where the travel and sandbox location didn't match and a minor edit to an ActorBase was made....

  • Travellers of Skyrim - The Ningheim Addon & German translation

Another addon for 'Traveller of Skyrim' is available!
'The Ningheim Addon' adds 12 new travellers to the world of Skyrim utilizing the custom race 'The Ningheim'.
It requires either the latest 'Vanilla Version' ('Full Version') or 'Light Version' of 'Travellers of Skyrim' and 'The Ningheim Race' mod.
Alternatively you can set it up as a standalone mod if you use the latest 'Travellers of Skyrim - esm file' instead of the 'Vanilla Version' or 'Light Version'.

  • Travellers of Skyrim - Dragonborn Addon and first anniversary

A Dragonborn Addon is now available. It allows the travellers to visit 'The Retching Netch' in 'Raven Rock'.

Travellers of Skyrim had it's first anniversary on the 19th of April.
I want to thank all of you who supported the mod in the last year through downloading and playing it, posting feedback and suggestions, creating translations, providing great mod hosting sites and a big thank you to the Elder Scrolls modding community in general for being great :)...

  • Travellers of Skyrim - French translation available

alphazell1 was so kind to create a French translation of Travellers of Skyrim.

  • Travellers of Skyrim Version 1.33 - dialogues fixed

Not too much happened in this version:
I added a SEQ files in order to fix the dialogue bug that was introduced in Skyrim version 1.6, low-level spells to the 'Travelling Pyromancers'' spell list and a ReadMe.txt....

  • Travellers of Skyrim Version 1.32 - 'Light Version' available

In this version I made a few tweaks to the 'Travelling Alchemists'' and 'Travelling Merchants'' inventory.
But the main feature of this release is the 'Light Version':
It contains 28 out of the 50 'Vanilla Version' travellers.
There is at least one female and one male NPC for every travellers type and I tried to keep the race ratio of the 'Vanilla Version'.

    Have fun :) ...

  • Travellers of Skyrim Version 1.31 - travellers unstuck

Besides another attempt to fix the pesky bug that prevents the travellers from actually travelling this update includes small tweaks to the level scaling.
Instead of being leveled from level 10 - 50 they now start from level 5 and the mercenaries' health offset has been nearly halved.
The fix to the 'SpawningPool bug' / travellers not appearing is simply a door connecting their spawn (the 'SpawingPool') and Tamriel.
The door leading from Tamriel to the 'SpawningPool' is hidden below Whiterun exterior and shouldn't be accessible without any console commands....

  • Travellers of Skyrim Version 1.3 is live!

Actually it is already available for over a week.
Nonetheless I wrote up a little article concerning this new release.

    Whats new?
*The travellers aren't as big road hazards thanks to torches.
*The 'Mercenary Warriors' now wield bows to fight off flying and ranged enemies.
*To avoid the 'Mercenary Conjurers' running around only wearing a circlet and no robes the circlet were removed from their equipment.
*The travelling mercenaries faction now attacks dragons.
*All the travelling vendors use a inventory thats unique to them.
*The 'Travelling Merchants' only sell spell tomes below master level.
    *The scripts were renamed.

The bug where the travellers don't leave their spawn area ('m0...
