I too would like to see this mod ported to SE. I've tried doing it with the CK and it appears I have failed somewhere because the Giant's campfire continues to provide almost zero illumination to the surrounding area.
After opening it in CK and saving to update the file for SSE I can confirm that it does work on SSE though I had to install Immersive Campfire Fix to get any of the campfire's to emit light. So thankful for this mod since it gives a much more cosy and realistic feel to a lot of the fire in Skyrim! :)
Ok. This mod is a fuckin small gem. Super endorsed. I found it checking the mod list of the super merged file Skyrim: the journey. Last version is the best of all. Thanks man.
I don't mean to resurrect this at all but do you think you are able to make a less bright gaint camp fires? while also keeping the same radius as well. I Am having problems with trying to balance out the giant camp fires and torch light at night on my ENB. It's Either REALLY bright fires and perfectly lit torches or perfect giant camp fires and very dim borderline unusable torch lights. If anyone knows anything that can help that would be appreciated. I'm sure ELFX has a lot to do with it too.
I was just talking about in general. Its grossly bright with ELFX. I think for ENB its the particle light brightness. But even if i turn that down it still stays bright. I did manage to find a middle ground in my enb for the giants campfires and torches to be bright enough.
It might be that. I'm am not fully aware what bonestock vanilla brightness is? That isn't much of my specialty in understanding skyrims effect names lol
Sorry, I just meant the game's default brightness :)
But now that you mentioned that you can control the light with ENB's particle intensity parameter, that shouldn't be possible. I will check with ENB and see if there's a need for a mesh fix, and if there is, I'll add it to the particle patch (I guess you're using that, right?).
I actually am using that. I found that works fine. The other things that effect outdoor light sources is PointLightingIntensity. But I think that one is accurate. And ParticleLightsIntensity affects the embers on the wood that's burning. If you make is bright enough it adds extra brightness when you are closer to the campfire. Well that's what happened when I play with those settings. Also I use EmbersHD. Love that mod too. But does that effect your mod in any way too?
Thanks for the info, got it. So would you say that the problem is not that much in the amount of light (point light intensity) that the campfire emits but more so that the effects (the fire, the puffs of flames, etc.) are too bright?
The fire effect doesn't add much light as compared to the EVIRONMENT section of the ENB GUI. That's where you adjust light sources. And yeah i need to learn how to do that. I tried looking at the creation kit to see what I can at least attempt but I couldn't guess heads or take from what it was showing me lmao
I think the X4 radius is the most immersive option at night, since light travels pretty far then, but the light fades out too rapidly at the end of the radius. You should make it so that the light fades out more gradually. At day, 4X radius + 2X brightness is way too much; everything is heavily illuminated while the sun is shining..
Since you pretty much merged Brighter Campfires and Brighter Candles, please add some screenshots of the candles and maybe add the x2.0 radius for that as vvell

I can make a patch though - if you'd like that, please let me know which version you'd prefer.
For Campfire and of course this cool little gem called Dynamic Giant Campfires - 56569.

Do you mean just with the bonestock vanilla radius but less bright?

Embers HD won't make any difference in the intensity of the light.
And yeah, CK is pretty intimidating and confusing at first but you'll get a hang of it in no time :)

Absolutely makes sense that nearby structures are now illuminated.
Thanks and Endorsed
